Woolshed Brewery Amazon Sprint Entries are now open for non Championship event the Woolshed Brewery Amazon Sprint 14th November with entries closing 10pm 31 October.... Whilst we know not all competitors from across Australia will not all be able to attend please support us as those that can get together and keep the passion for Dinghy Racing Alive! 13.01.2022 Hi All, We have for once been a bit quite on and of the water thanks to Covid 19! I know you all have an insatiable thirst to get back on the water. We are working towards doing just that. Currently we have state regulations and border restrictions to contend with before we can all get back together and race.... What we do have to look forward to is a chance to "Get back on the water" at the iconic; Woolshed Brewery. Put this date in your diary, November 14 th 2020. We plan to race the Amazon Sprint course. Whilst not a Champ Series event it will be a chance to ‘get back on the water together’. To all those unable to attend hang tough the creeks are waiting! Stay tuned Woolshed Brewery

12.01.2022 REMINDER ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING IS TODAY TUESDAY 24TH NOVEMBER 2020 At the meeting we will elect committee volunteers and also possibly new committee members it is important to remember the reasons why people should volunteer. Personally I have volunteered for around 14 years. While we all have a passion for dinghy racing that is not enough of a reason to put your hand up. We all need to be committed or there is no point in lodging a nomination. If you just want to have... your say, push an agenda, or know first what's happening, definitely don't nominate. If you want thanks or to be congratulated don’t nominate. But: Put your hand up if you are committed to doing your part to put on one of the greatest events in Australia . Put your hand up if you want to play a positive role in shaping the culture of the Riverland. Put your hand up if you want to protect what has become an ionic Riverland event Whilst it seems a thankless role you will find it also has benefits which you may not be able to see at the time. To me a standout has been seeing new racers start and then progress to be valued mates and tough competitors, whilst being a committee member. It doesn't seem that long ago we were try to keep a club which was about to fold and make 15hp the maximum engine, grow into what it is now. I’m proud to say I helped others way back then keep going and whilst we don't get everything right every time, I am stoked that the club has progressed to where it is.
