24.01.2022 An important part of a successful hospitality business is listening to your customers needs, adapting to their requests as far as possible & within the bounds of what’s reasonable following the mantra ‘the customer is always right’ That said, we can’t help but giggle when we serve punters who claim to ‘hate’ all things chilli Of course we’re all entitled to our personal preferences but it’s a bit like going to a kebab shop but not liking kebabs or a pizza place when you ‘hate’ pizza, ya know ? 24.01.2022 Twice cooked sticky beef rib with green papaya salad, hot & fragrant magic dust, sweet fish sauce & sticky rice The only dish that’s guaranteed to stay on our menu every single week (we took it off once & there was public outcry so we’ve learned from our mistake ) Every single service at least one person comments that these are the ‘best beef ribs’ they’ve ever tasted -... 05.01.2022 A homage to #hotones Leigh's superhot sriracha may have been the sauce that started it all - but there's no denying the Widow Maker's been the game changer for our small biz over this past year. T'is so crazy cool to think of chilli lovers all round the world melting faces & blowing brains with our humble hot sauce from Freo - and on top of that, to win an award for excellence in international trade (thanks Fremantle Chamber of Commerce) is just so bananas when this time... last year we'd literally never exporting a single bottle of sauce ANYWHERE We can never really thank the team at HEATONIST enough for taking such a massive leap of faith - backing a couple of complete newbies with absolutely no track record of producing large quantities of sauce, let along shipping them half way around the world on ridiculously tight time frames For the audience, the #hotones show is brilliantly entertaining, a great premise and a whole lot of fun (maybe for the celebs crazy enough to go up against the wings of doom, not so much ) - for a small family biz like us, it's been life changing So huzzah for hot ones, huzzah for hot sauce & have a great day one & all

03.01.2022 Cook time Monday is sauce day in the Dingo kitchen - when Leigh changes from service mode to full blown chilli alchemy - it still amazes me how he can so effortlessly transition from sourcing produce to writing menus to catering functions and then actually cooking a la carte & running 3 crazy services in a row before switching back to sauce production to start the process all over again for a new week of fun and games. Running your own small biz you certainly are a ja...ck of all trades - no doubt about it - believe me when I say there’s never a dull moment but we wouldn’t have it any other way Wherever you are, hope your Monday’s kicked off with a bang & your week ahead is punctuated by healthy serves of hot sauce #lifeisbetterwithchilli #dowhatyoulove #hotsauceoneverything
