23.01.2022 Another fantastic day of filming with the team from Festival Sing 2020! Only two more days of filming left to go in the coming weeks. A brilliant story rising from complete disappointment when the Festival Theatre was forced to close, to amazing times on set helping kids to embrace the arts. It has been 101 years since the Festival of Music had to be cancelled due to the Spanish Flu Pandemic!!! 16.01.2022 POSTPONEMENT NOTICE With the announcement of Government restrictions for the next two weeks we are extremely disappointed to announce that The Barton Gala will be postponed. We are hoping to announce a new date in the coming weeks that will likely be in the early part of 2021. If you have already purchased tickets, Ticketmaster will be in touch via email and we hope that you can sit tight until a new date is confirmed. Your tickets and allocated seats are valid for the new date when it is announced. 15.01.2022 This Summer marks the 10th season of BBL cricket for Ding Productions! I could not be more proud of the Ding Family and the 100+ professional artists who have worked their Summer days at The Adelaide Oval. My deepest gratitude to The Adelaide Strikers and TLA who have provided work for Adelaide artists across the past ten years. Also to Melissa Dunbar for connecting us that very first year!!! My heartfelt thanks to all the Ding crew who have contributed in so many different ways and have always represented Ding with unlimited energy, smiling faces, can do attitudes and talent!!! 15.01.2022 Last night Ding was priviliged to perform the opening and closing of the Premier's Food Awards. The night had special meaning for the Food Industry who have suffered through 2020. The event theme focussed on 'Our Stories' and featured the fabulous success stories of South Australian food businesses. It seemed a perfect opportunity to include these amazing people in the celebration and so 30 members joined our professional cast for a flashmob!! They kept it secret from friends... and colleagues and was a very special moment! The closing also highlighted the winners and finalists on the massive rear screen and I could not be more proud of Ding and all of our artists for performing so brilliantly!! The Barton Band features touring musicians who have returned to SA and bring a wealth of experience to the show.... The band is very excited to present the diverse range of fabulous music that will be featured including Tina Arena, Earth Wind and Fire, Queen, Michael Buble, Foo Fighters, Louis Prima, Sam Smith and The Beatles. Leading vocalists are rehearsing in readiness for the big night and will be supported by an outstanding dance ensemble who will add energy and extravagance to The Gala. Six years of awesome times and hundreds of professional artists singing, dancing, playing, twirling and entertaining, supported by an an amazing group of committed support cast. Thank you Mel, Bron, Taylor, Sarah, Ben, Tom and Steve (and everyone at Strikers and TLA!!!) for all your help with these huge performances over the years.
