21.01.2022 Hi everyone, today is supposed to be a scorcher. Thankfully it won’t last more than a few days and by mid week we should see the temperatures come back to some kind of normality. In the meantime, I have noted some points that might help you through this and they are not in any particular order; 1) Keep well hydrated 2) Check on your elderly neighbours ... 3) Consider doing some Christmas shopping at an air conditioned shopping centre. 4) Find a nice cool spot at home and log onto www.dinmorebushrats.com.au/register to sign up for the 2021 season. 5) Make sure pets have adequate water and their bowl is not in the sun. 6) Crank the air conditioner to max and and log onto www.dinmorebushrats.com.au/register to sign up for the 2021 season. 7) Try not to go swimming in the middle of the day and avoid excessive outdoor activities. 8.) Find a good movie or binge on Netflix and during the breaks log onto www.dinmorebushrats.com.au/register to sign up for the 2021 season. 9) Take a cold shower 10) Refer to tip 1 and keep your fluids up. If we all refer to these very easy tips, we can beat this heat. Don’t forget to pop in and see your elderly neighbours/friends, they often sit inside their homes with doors & windows closed for personal security.

Trials for team selections will be held on Monday nights 8 and 15 February 2021. Trial times will be advised next week for each team. Fill Out the details, and submit. It takes less than 1 minute.... We also have wonderful volunteers at the gate who can assist, or manually sign you in. Thank you on behalf of the Dinmore Bushrats Committee EDIT: additional information If you are suffering from cold or flu-like symptoms or have been in contact with a known or suspected case of COVID-19, you MUST NOT attend training sessions, matches or ay other football activity for 14 days. 15.01.2022 Well folks, that’s a wrap. Saturday afternoon/evening we had our club break up & presentation at the Tivoli Drive-In. The 2020 season was a very trying season but we made it through another successful campaign and will come back bigger & better next season. A big thank you to our invited guests; Duchense & Greg Broad from Riverview Neighbourhood Watch who helped us on the gate all season and Richard Sidney from the QCSA who presented our players & officials with their troph...ies. What a wonderful community we are a part of.

01.01.2022 It was a great morning of junior soccer today at Riverview. So glad that the rain held off during the games. Big thanks and shoutout to Sharon Brackin for steering the ship from the canteen today. Well done to all of our teams and RugRats today.

01.01.2022 This mornings fixtures saw the final round of a shortened 10 week QCSA season. This season we entered teams in U/6, U/7, U/8, U/9, 2 x U/12 teams and the RugRats 3-5yo’s. Each week all teams took to the field and gave their very best for the club, playing within the true spirit of community sport and earning the respect of each other and the opposing teams. While it is important to play to win it is even more important to conduct yourself in true sportsman like manner and thi...s has been recognised many times by opposing clubs. Well done to all of our players, parents, officials and volunteers throughout 2020. You are the reason the club is well regarded in the West Zone community. And thank you to all of the West Zone clubs for another wonderful season. 2020 has been an interesting year but with the amazing people we have at our club I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else.
