18.01.2022 And.... that’s a wrap, people! Dinner at Dougie’s House is done, we’ve cleaned up the kitchen and mopped the floors..... But, don’t unfriend is yet. We are working on a couple of projects, a menu for the Bergy, some fund raising ideas and some Christmas hampers. We are also keen to connect with any local community groups who are helping to get local businesses back up and running, so please message me with details so we can help out where we can. 05.01.2022 Dinner at Dougie’s House Guest Chef Series featuring Chef Sam Pinzone Chef Sam Pinzone has graced some of Australia’s top kitchens... and he has worked and trained with some of Australia’s best chefs, like Neil Perry and Jacques Reymond. Sam is well known for his work as an RUOK? Ambassador, he has cooked alongside such legends as Dan Hunter, Gary Mehigan, Geoff Lindsay, and has appeared on the Living Room next to Miguel Maestre and Barry Du Bois to raise awareness for suici...de prevention. He is not only a great chef, but he’s just the kind of community minded legend that we love down here at the Dougie’s House kitchen. We hear every day about covid deaths.... but many more people have lost their lives to suicide in these troubled times, so we are going to dedicate the profits from this Guest Chef Series featuring Chef Sam Pinzone to the wonderful people at RUOK? to help them do the wonderful work that they do. Sam is in the lab right now designing a French-inspired menu to titillate your tastebuds next week! Watch this space, new menu up soon!!
