25.01.2022 Our classic Greek Salad is back on the menu and makes me think of warm summer evenings. Crisp green capsicum and cucumber, rich roma tomato and sweet Spanish onion are combined with earthy black olives and crumbly feta. Accompanied with an oregano and red wine dressing this makes an ideal lunch dish or a great side salad at dinner.

21.01.2022 Back on the menu is our fab Pea & Pumpkin Risotto. This dish is a great vegetarian option. Delivered in our microwaveable stand-up pouches it re-heats in the microwave but can be heated in a saucepan on the stove too. Throw together a salad and you've got a complete meal that tastes like you went to a lot of effort but is ready in 5 minutes. Hooray.

16.01.2022 The rain has arrived today, but our kitchen is redolent with the amazing flavours of our Thai Beef Massaman Curry. Pulling people off the street to ask what we’re cooking. The most flavoursome of the Thai curries, tender pieces of Cape Byron Angus Beef cooked in mild spices, coconut milk with sweet potato pieces. This curry is mild yet full of flavour, generous chunks of beef and sweet potato, finished with fresh coriander and accompani...ed with basmati rice. We love to make the experience as wonderful as possible and we're grateful to be part of this special gift. 'I have so many nice things to say about Dinner is Served in Byron Bay. I ordered three main meals and sides late one night for a friend who had just given birth and first thing the next morning the lovely owner called to confirm... details and offer to hand write a card to my friends. The meals were with them by 3pm that afternoon, freshly cooked and less than 24 hours after I’d ordered. 10.01.2022 Hey you guys.... guess what? I finally stayed in the incredible One Lazy Sunday Airstream. It was everything you could imagine, and more. We were invited to camp for weekend at lovely friends property, but not having a caravan and with rain forecast we decided to ditch the tent and rent this absolute beauty.... All other camping is now ruined of course. If you’re visiting Byron and looking for a unique experience, or if you’re a local looking to make the most of local travel then you have to experience this. Check out their website or Instagram for all the thoughtful, elegant touches. I’m pleased to report that our pouch meals heat easily on the stove top. We took the Beef Bourguignon with Creamy Mash and Thai Beef Massaman with us, and I checked the surprisingly generous oven and our largest meal trays fit comfortably. The Organic Drink Co have a beautiful Lemon, Lime & Bitter and a Ginger Beer which hits all the right spots and today we welcomed Enliven to the Chef’s Kitchen Door with their wonderful Kombucha. Lemon & Ginger available now and Passionfruit will be with us shortly.
