24.01.2022 DINO RACE REPORT Wagga & Districts Kart Club Junior Development day with Dave Sera & Matt McLean Three Dino Karts Australia drivers attended the Junior Dev Day at Wagga at the weekend and from all accounts it was really valuable to each of the drivers, learning from one of the most successful karters in Aussie Karting, Dave Sera. ... Friday night was a meet n greet BBQ with some discussion on kart setup. Saturday saw many sessions on the track with Dave & Matt providing on-track feedback and direction that had all three drivers improving their lines and braking markers, and lap times tumbled as a result. Sunday was race day and a chance to put it all into practice. Matthew Hansford-Taylor piloted his Dino 900 in Cadet 12 to a commanding round win on points. He dominated most of the races with a swag of 1st places to take the top spot on the podium by day's end. Well done Matthew!! Reginald Barry ran strong all day in Cadet 9, starting 1st or 2nd in each Heat, and took out 2nd on the podium for the meet. Great result Reg! Riley Blaxell had more of an educational weekend, piloting his new Dino 900 with sling shot starts but unfortunately during the heats, his super fast pace into turn 1 meant he was often coming up on slightly slower karts on the exit, resulting in a few solo spins to avoid collision. Only his fourth ever race meet, there's no doubt Riley's racecraft will improve with a few more meets under his belt. He finished 4th on points. All in all a fantastic weekend of coaching and racing, with the Dino 900 chassis showing great speed across the classes. Next race meet is Club Round 5 of the Orange Kart Club this coming weekend where Dino will be out in force in Cadet, Junior and Senior classes!

16.01.2022 Race Report AKC Rd 2 Albury Wodonga Well, the Dino Racing Team survived Rd 2 of the AKC at Albury recently, competing in Cadet 9 and Cadet 12 on the Dino 950 and Dino 900 chassis’.... Reg Barry fought his way for a place in the Cadet 12 Final, the over-subscribed class meaning not everyone made it through. The race was marred with carnage, and starting on the rear of the grid, Reg weaved his way through all of it to finish in P30. A brilliant finish for his first ever AKC experience. Matthew Hansford-Taylor worked hard all weekend but couldn’t quite find the necessary pace in his heats against the very strong competitive field, missing out on a spot in the Final. Disappointing for Matthew but will spur him on for Rd 3 at Newcastle, a more familiar track! Cadet 9 saw the Blaxell Brothers again contesting the class of 18 drivers. Their best finishes were in Heat 1 with a recorded P9 (Riley) and P10 (Connor), and a P10 finish for Riley in the Final. They were both very happy with their overall results, finishing higher up the field than in Rd 1 and bagging some championship points as well. Next race meet is the all important Rd 1 of the NSW State Titles at Coffs Harbour in just a few days time, followed by Rd 3 of the AKC in Newcastle in late May.

Here is Ollie Puddick in his brand new Dino Winner 950 and in his very first race meet at Orange Kart Club at the weekend. Great stuff Ollie, we hope you loved the kart and we look forward to seeing you at more races in the future!

10.01.2022 Young Josh Bidwell in his first ever race meet at Eastern Creek at the weekend and loving his Dino Kart 900 cadet kart. Josh came close to his PB and also had to contend with Qualifying in his first meet!! He qualified 7th out of 9 drivers and we are pretty sure you’ll see this young lad at the track quite a bit! Well done Josh!!

08.01.2022 Four drivers competed in Round 3 of the Australian Kart Championship at Newcastle Kart Racing Club racing in Dino Karts 900 and 950 chassis configurations. Reginald Barry and Matthew Hansford-Taylor contested the Cadet 12 class with Matthew finishing in 32nd out of 46 competitors, and a PB finish in the AKC for Matthew. Reginald unfortunately just missed out on the Final which saw 40 of the 46 on the starting grid. ... The Blaxell Brothers Racing duo of Connor and Riley Blaxell raced in Cadet 9 and started the meet strong qualifying in 7th and 14th respectively. 05.01.2022 It’s been a while between posts as we’ve been flat out preparing the Dino Racing Team for 2018. Four Dino Kart drivers and one Gillard driver have committed to contest the Australian Kart Championship starting with Round 1 in Monarto, SA. Former Dino Kart driver, Charlie McLandsborough will contest the KA3 Senior class in a Gillard chassis. Although not a Dino, Charlie is one of the family and a senior driver and friend to our younger Dino cadets.... Two experienced Dino pilots will contest the Cadet 12 class. Matthew Hansford-Taylor and Reg Barry make their AKC debut in 4 short weeks. Chassis selection has not been finalised but they are likely to run the Dino Winner 950 or our customised Dino 900 featuring AMV Components. In Cadet 9 we have our two youngest pilots. Connor and Riley Blaxell will both be stepping up to the National level for the first time in the proven Dino Winner 950 chassis. We are very excited to have such a great team, and regardless of their results this will be a fantastic experience for them all We wish them all the very best in Monarto!

03.01.2022 Here we are at Rd 3 of the Australian Kart Championship with four Dino drivers contesting the Cadet 9 and Cadet 12 classes. Today was official practice and all four drivers did very well in two very classy fields.
