25.01.2022 Over a very busy two-day rail possession in April, Diodrone worked with GHD and Sydney Trains to complete one of the largest and most detailed drone inspection projects ever in Australia. More than 4000 images and almost 2 hours of video footage cover every square centimetre of these enormous cuttings at the foothills of the Blue Mountains. Special thanks to Leon Demuth for helping out with the flying and ground works.

24.01.2022 Thanks for a great year!

23.01.2022 Great to grab brief slot on Channel 7 News... Over November and December, we ran LiDAR and photogrammetry surveys over several locations along the Great Ocean Road. The busy tourist route required careful planning and implementation of traffic control measures to keep motorists and the drone adequately separated but the results are proving more than worth it. Topographic survey over extensive sections of the road to a level of detail never previously possible.

23.01.2022 Remote Visual Inspection of the Centenary Bridge in Brisbane for Aurecon and TMR. Flight operations were based from a specialised barge which provided separation from the boat crew and remote pilot during take off and landing. Over a series and flights, the entire under deck area of the bridge was visually inspected with a high resolution camera and telephoto zoom lens. Maintaining 30m separation from the live traffic crossing the bridge was critical to the feasibility of the project, requiring careful flight planning and extensive risk assessment before receiving approval.

19.01.2022 Sunset over The Shire... couldn't resist putting a machine up to catch this one.

19.01.2022 Diodrone has been covering the Bulli Pass Rock Fall Barrier Fence project over the past few weeks. All parties have done a fantastic job in getting a complex project delivered ahead of program and Diodrone has been there to capture it in high-definition glory! Check out the first project update video on the Roads and Maritime Services website. http://www.rms.nsw.gov.au//i/bulli-pass/video-gallery.html

18.01.2022 The work horse of Diodrone's fleet, our Inspire 1 Pro, fitted with super bright LED spotlights for purlin inspections inside the provisioning shed at Pacific National's Hunter Bulk Terminal.

16.01.2022 Have a site you want covered but too close to Sydney Airport to use a drone? No problem, we've got it covered. This shot captured by one of our talented photographers from the cockpit of an R44.

15.01.2022 A quick little edit from our recent high risk vegetation scoping works with Sydney Trains... Management of vegetation encroachment into power line corridors is critical to the reliability of infrastructure networks as well as reducing bush fire risk... in terrain as rugged and inaccessible as in the Blue Mountains, Diodrone provides a cost effective means of safely scoping grow-in and fall-in vegetation hazards.

15.01.2022 RMS have just announced the stage 2 works for Bulli Pass... Check out the video we produced covering what was done under Stage 1... the largest barrier of it's type in Australia! http://www.rms.nsw.gov.au//video-g/project-background.html

15.01.2022 As a certified operator, Diodrone can have a permission to operate inside restricted airspace within 48 hours. If it's genuinely urgent, we can do it sooner. Don't risk it with an uncertified operator breaking the law and the terms of their insurance... if they have any at all.

13.01.2022 What is Diodrone?

04.01.2022 First images of our two new birds, currently under construction in the USA. With 3 hour flight endurance, 30km datalink range, parachute recovery and a range of sensors, we can't wait to get these airborne!

04.01.2022 You wouldn't believe the places a drone can take you...

04.01.2022 Australia is leading the way in drone regulation... another great initiative from CASA that will help to ensure drone integration continues safely and sustainability.

04.01.2022 Remote Visual Inspection inside a busy live rail corridor without disrupting operations, without placing people at risk, and in a fraction of the time conventional methods would require... Diodrone's safety, quality & efficiency on display at Pacific National's Hunter Bulk Terminal.

02.01.2022 While we've got a drone buzzing around your site collecting data, why not snap a few glory shots and keep your stakeholders up to date and informed? We did just that for the RMS... producing this little edit for the recent Bulli Pass works! Check it out and get in touch.

01.01.2022 An idyllic spot to have a drone up in the air - crystal clear water, dolphins, fish and an historic wharf in desperate need of condition assessment. Diodrone was onsite this week to conduct a detailed Remote Visual Inspection of the historic Catherine Hill Bay Pier.To demolish or re-develop into, what would certainly be, a landmark attraction? That is the question...
