They’re also introducing a new tagline the first global tagline they’ve ever had in JD's 140+ year history. And, yeah, it’s Make It Count. And I have to say, I’m not even mad. They say great minds think alike, eh? I'll take it one step further- good business makes it count. ... I particularly love what Matt Blevins, Vice President and Global Brand Director of Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey, has to say about the slogan: At Jack Daniel’s we have a saying that Mr. Jack himself was known for: Every day we make it, we’ll make it the best we can. However, this mantra goes beyond our whiskey making and is really a way of life. Make it Count is a modern articulation of that spirit- to live life to the fullest, enjoy the moments we have, and give it your all. We know that is how Jack lived his life and we think it still resonates today. 11.01.2022 So, 2020, huh? It’s been a BIG one. I can’t say I’ve had any complaints about the extended working hours- we’re lucky to still be working, and not just surviving- but thriving. Besides, as accountants, the extra hours have been necessary. We have needed to ensure a broad range of Government subsidies and measures available under the Covid-19 Pandemic and subsequent lockdown are made clear and communicable to our valued clients. 05.01.2022 Nick Hill and Andrew Walker started Walker Hill with a vision. Wanting to create a firm which aligned with their values and what they believed they could achieve, the boys’ solution was to quit their respective roles, start their own business and make their own rules. The risk paid off. Nick and Andrew planned for success through investments and forecasting, and today, with a business that has grown 139% since 2015-16, they help other small businesses to do the same.
