18.01.2022 Hi Everyone, Now that we are back in full swing for the year and have completed our first Western Trip I figured I better get some prospective dates up for the next few months of travelling. Our next trip West will be around the 16th of April with this trip heading through Hughenden, Richmond, Julia Creek and then onto Cloncurry. Our first trip of the year North (Greenvale, Forsayth, Mount Surprise and Georgetown) will be starting on the 14th of May.... And our first trip South (Belyando Crossing and Mount Coolon) will be the week of the 4th of June. If you require Pest Control Services in these areas, please don't hesitate to give us a call. 15.01.2022 Time to keep your sweet stuff safe Inside and outside the house, the "Irodomyremex glaber" Black House Ant, is on the move again after the lovely rain we have had here. So here's a little info about the pesky pests. Nests: Normally in the ground, under bark or decaying timber. But love living in the walls and roof of your house just to be annoying. Trails: May extend over long distances up and into trees and shrubs, yet also like to track across your ceilings, beams and joists making a lovely mess by dropping debris on the surfaces below. Eat: They feed on honeydew from sap-sucking insects when they decide to live outside. But it's a lot more likely for you to find them in your sweet food in the house.

08.01.2022 Well we've really failed on the Facebook front this year due to a few things that have taken up our extra time. Anyway we better get back on with it. Ken will be heading all over North Queensland in the next couple of months to Georgetown, Mount Coolon and another trip West up to Burketown this run. Greenvale/Georgetown run week of the 16th of October Mount Coolon run around the 1st of November Western run the week of the 6th of November

02.01.2022 Over the last few months we have seen a large amount of movement from the little guys know as Termites. They have been out in force and with this lovely rain that we've been having it has been seen that a large amount of altates (flying ants) are travelling around both regular ants and termites. If you look closely at the photo of the tree you can see a large mud track made by termites that are loving the timber that they have found there, this is an evident sign that there ...are termites there or that they've been there. The diagram displayed is of the comparison of the altates in both the ant colonies and termite colonies, take a look at this to know the difference between them both. With saying all this if you're worried about the prospect of termites around your house, please don't hesitate in giving us a call to organise a full Timber Pest Inspection to be carried out at your property.
