19.01.2022 See the little cuties in the pics? They're our new embroiderable stuffed plush toys. They come with a removable pillow insert (usually 2) which enables us to embroider their tummies, and also enables you to wash and disinfect the toys after they've been chewed, spewed and pooed upon. (Just a thought to help your brekkie go down!) Whatever you want can be embroidered - name, time and date of birth, height, weight or simply their name and a Merry Christmas or Get Well or just, I love you! More critters arriving in store at the end of the month.

13.01.2022 Morning all. We've just produced a Dirranbandi 2019 calendar teatowel and the first one has just come off the machines. It'll make a nice stocking stuffer or Christmas gift for friends and family who are out of town. We'll produce more over the next couple of days, and remember that we're open this weekend. 09.01.2022 Morning all - Leanne here. Just a quick reminder that we are happy to accept your Toll parcels, but only if you okay it with the courier. We've had one or two cranky bums demanding to know where their parcel is. The situation is that we do accept Toll parcels if you are not home, but the courier is supposed to ring you and get your ok with it; we're not an official drop off point. We're happy to do it - just don't shoot the messenger! Cheers

03.01.2022 Hi all - Leanne here. Well, things are starting to look a little grim around the country with the corona virus running a bit rampant. I have no doubt that we'll all get through it by following the commonsense guidelines being provided to us. Dirran Outback stands ready to do its part by stepping up disinfection procedures (alcohol wipes over the eftpos terminal after every use, disinfecting floors daily and "fogging" the shop and walls with disinfectant steam solutions e...very day) We ask that you do your part by maintaining hygiene distance when in the shop. We are also in the process of putting drycleaner bags over every unwrapped piece of clothing in the shop. Unfortunately we will no longer be able to allow "trying on" of any stock items, other than some specific items set aside for this purpose. We will wash and disinfect these daily. For the same hygiene reasons, we can no longer accept clothing for embroidery that is not brand new and still in its original packaging. We have also re-established our online store, and we're in the process of adding items to it every day. It's up and running right now, but as yet, is not fully stocked. https://www.dirranoutback.com.au/shop If the really harsh restrictions of locking down non-essential businesses comes in to play, we will move to a wholly online operation, utilising Australia Post for delivery or doing a half-way meet on the road for people to pick up their orders. In the meantime, for those who are already self-isolated, please allow us to help you out with a free embroidery design every few days. Obviously you need an embroidery machine. The designs will start off tomorrow, and will be in a variety of formats suitable for pretty much all embroidery machines. Chin up troops - we WILL get through this and the best of good health to you all.
