07.01.2022 7 weeks until the World Championships. Dan and I having been raising funds this year to support the 6 XC Australian National Champions to compete at the World C...hampionships. Our goal is to raise $2,000 for each rider to help with the costs as every rider is responsible for the costs of their flights, accommodation, transport on the ground, licensing and insurance costs to get to Mont Sainte Anne, Canada. So far we have reached $5900 across our go-fund-me page, fundraising lollies & choccies and cash donations. That's almost $1,000 per rider which is AMAZING and will be greatly appreciated and make a big difference to each rider! Sadly there just isnt the support behind the Aussies like a lot of other federations around the World and we see this with the lack of Aussie representation at International events. 02.01.2022 2019 ACT Schools MTB Champs - We only have just over one month to go to the ACT Schools MTB Champs. This event will be held at Stromlo Forest Park on Friday the... 30th of August. Last year we had more than 40 schools participate from Canberra and the wider region. This is a participation event for school teams of 3-4 members in age categories including Junior (yrs 6-8), Senior (yrs 9-10) and College (yrs 11-12). There are female, male and mixed categories.
