17.01.2022 Now that’s a blast from the past! Our current president caught up with the original Town and Country Club president Jack Beach, who was there when it all started. From humble beginnings when a few locals were sitting around the bar at the Town and Country Club and said let’s put Julia Creek on the map!. The president Jack Beach joined the conversation by saying ‘why don’t you have a Triathlon!?’ and the rest is history... What is going to be the next new thi...ng for the Dirt n Dust? New ideas, quirky concepts, put your hand up and be part of the next generation. 16.01.2022 Our very own flyer boy, Cooper Parry Pope was in town today handing out our AGM posters! At 14 years old he’s been a Dirt n Dust volunteer since he could walk and talk. One of the most helpful, giving and funniest kids of Julia Creek and has just recovered from an operation before deciding to bust himself up again yesterday. Despite waiting for a doctors appointment for his new injuries he still put up his hand to deliver our flyers to the local businesses.
