These days people don't spend much time or thought on some personal words to their friends and family, they just copy and paste some random shit and send it on. 22.01.2022 Help needed. Firstly, a massive thank you to all of my customers. Opening this little business from home has been one of the most rewarding experiences I can remember. Working with so many repeat customers, it feels like I am just hanging out with old friends. I love working with you all. Unfortunately, my landlord doesn’t see the positives of what I do, and I have been informed that I do not, and will not ever, have permission to chop hair in the garage.... So I need somewhere to chop. I’m really keen to continue working as a sole trader, chopping locals, in a small space. Is there anyone in Jerra keen to rent a garage or granny flat to me? With my lovely wife working away for all of 2021, I need to be as close to home as possible (just not in my home... ) Please send me a DM if you think you might be able to work something out with me.

19.01.2022 Alex has only had two chops this year. Both by me. Both times he walked in with a ranga power fro. He won’t let me do a flat top mullet, so I cut a rull purdy curly boy fade instead, and it came out toight.

14.01.2022 New year, new digs!! Dirty Chops is now operating at number 4 Jacaranda Drive, with all new landlords. These guys are friends, and customers, and are all on board with the DC experience. No more having to sneak down the side gate, pretending that you are just a visitor, whilst we hide from the scrotum who was my former landlord. In the open, and free baby! Still getting everything organised, but Chops are on, with all availability current in the Facebook calendar.

14.01.2022 That special time in a young man’s life, when, after dropping his beautiful Wahl Cordless detailers, and smashing the blades, he gets new ones from Clipper Blade Sharpening in Queanbeyan, and now feels like he again has the power.

14.01.2022 EXTREMELY happy to have King Brown Pomade in stock in the Dirty Chops Garage. Have been trialling these guys these last few weeks, and am incredibly impressed. Australian made and owned, deliciously scented, and a range that covers everyone. Plus, at $25 a tin, they are really well priced. Especially for such a high-end product. Going into his home leather workshop is everything you could want it to be - eleventy kajillion tools, lots of finished pieces around, and the delicious smell of leather. He doesn’t have a Facebook page, or a website. Just Google Jim’s Leather Craft in Canberra, and he can sort you out.

09.01.2022 Two large pieces of news. 1. From 1st Sept I will be chopping heads in the mess at HQJOC, every Tuesday 8-1(ish). So if you work at JOC, or know someone who works there, drop me a line, and we will sort out a booking. Looking to make it more than once a week if I can, so come at me. 2. I FINALLY got a haircut, and no longer look like a homeless barber...

08.01.2022 One of the customers from when I very first got to Canberra got posted out at short notice, and as a parting gift, I got a new couch for the shop, and some 25mm big dog shells as a decoration! . Been a lot of my legends posting out this time of year, always sad to see them go .

08.01.2022 Massive congrats to our employee of the year, Dave! Dave has worked consistently hard since we opened, pouring his heart and soul into the business. He always works to look after his fellow employees, a real team player. Dave’s boss had this to say about him: What an ace bloke. Good-looking, works hard, a shoulder for me to cry on, a great man to have a beer with. He could swear less, but otherwise, thoroughly well deserved.... As winner of the award, Dave has also earned a three night getaway to the south coast next weekend. Well done.
