19.01.2022 This week we’re observing National Child Protection week and the 2020 theme of ‘Putting Children First’. Children with a disability are at an increased risk of neglect and abuse within our community. We here at DSV always put children and vulnerable people first. We want to ensure they have a voice in this important conversation. Thank you for the important work that the Australian Federal Police & NAPCAN are doing in the space. https://www.afp.gov.au//cam/national-child-protection-week

You can find these resources under Word Board, Social Story & Visual Schedule on the link below. These resources are designed for everyone but are also autism spectrum friendly . Everyone has the right to fall in love with movement. #DSV #Autism #AutismAwareness #Movement #TenpinBowling #Bowling https://bowlpatrol.com.au/participants/program-schedule/

11.01.2022 Parenting can be tough and sometimes we need some extra support and that's OK. Did you know that the team at Kids Helpline Official have a support service for parents called Parentline? If you need some support why not give them a call and they can help you navigate some of those parenting dilemmas. In Victoria just call 13 22 89 for the cost of a local call. They're available from 8am to midnight 7 days a week #Parenting #Parents #Disability #Support #Help https://kidshelpline.com.au//i/how-parentline-can-help-you

If you are struggling at this time then why don't you check out the Australian Government Department of Health's mental health resources. We see you and we are here for you. #MentalHealth #PhysicalActivity #Sport #Disability https://headtohealth.gov.au/covid-19-support/covid-19
