The DiscoTrux is a roller skate truck created specifically for street and park skating. Designed by Bont Parkstar 'Disco', he has combined his many years of rolling skating with his creativity for problem solving. The DiscoTrux is a new unique design for roller skate trucks, made of solid aluminum with interchangeable parts, specifically the option to use wide or extra wide axles (70mm or 100mm). However, they are only available in 70mm version in the current 2020 Bont package. Discotrux also comes with alternative length pivot pins, to ensure the adjustment can be made to fit many versions of roller skate plates across brands. DiscoTrux is designed to suit Bont Tracer plate. They are compatible with other brand plates that have hard plastic pivot cups. 10.01.2022 Read all about it... #discotrux A review from Bont Parkstar, @felonyfoxtrot "Ok I'm OBSESSED with the discotrux. I skated park in them Friday and Saturday and then some street today.... My friend was checking them out on my skates in LA yesterday and he was so CRAZY about how they look and the design feel, that he was asking me how to pre-order them! They are sooo sick....... I tried my damnedest to break them, and I COULD NOT...I was super hard on them...did a lot of truck stalls and grinds and slides and airs and pumped through transitions- stomped hard in them a lot, and they are wicked solid. They are light weight and the width is PHENOMENAL! Absolute perfection for both being solidly supported, AND not tripping on them doing crossovers or landing with my feet too close together. The Discotrux are pristine and feel super high quality. The pivot cups stay in place and give me a good grounded feeling. They take turns really well, while being as tight as possible. They're really great with Tracer plate and the shape of them is a major highlight for me. The hexagon shape felt incredible locking in on stalls on coping. I know that grinding isn't your focus for these, but it's a great bonus. The grounded profile felt better than any trucks I've used before by far, for rolling and landing from high airs and jumps...I feel totally one with the skates and trucks, this is my favourite part. That with boots, tracer plates, bushings, discoblox and discotrux, they truly feel like ONE solid piece. It's the first time I've felt like that on quads, and I never wanna go back. The feeling is just incredible and feels so controlled. I seriously love the feeling and the mental space it gives me to not be distracted by the feeling of cheap janky loose parts. I really can't say anything bad about them at all. I don't even know how you will be able to evolve with technology from these, because I've never felt anything like them.
