25.01.2022 Our Get Set For Work (GSFW) participants hosted a welcome barbeque this week as part of a team building and getting to know you activity! We all know theres nothing better than a snag in bread with tomato sauce!!

23.01.2022 Weve had some busy DISCO participants lately! TtW participants from Toowoomba & DISCO - Gatton along with the Gatton GSfW participants all completed their White Card course training on site at our James Street office with DGT Employment & Training. Great work guys!

22.01.2022 Our Get Set for Work group had fun incorporating their units of measure for their Certificate in Skills for Work and used this as a practical cooking lesson. All participants used team work and communication skills, hygiene and work methodically.

22.01.2022 On the 28th of November, DISCO had its Staff Christmas Party! There was great food, drinks, lots of laughs and celebrations! For the first time ever, a DISCO ...Staff Member received the DISCO Sovereign. The Sovereign represents the organisations highest honour and reflects an individual or an entity that has been instrumental to the organisations success. 13.01.2022 DISCO recently released a video to explain to various stakeholders the steps it is taking to keep clients, visitors and staff safe from COVID-19. CEO Mike Paton... recently stated; "DISCO understands the importance of ensuring anyone who connects to our organisation is aware that we are operating under a DISCO Management Committee approved Coronavirus Risk Management Plan. We want to take all possible steps to ensure our operating environments are as safe as possible and to this end the organisation has invested in training, marketing and resources to enable our team members to be appropriately prepared and equipped so that all visitors to our sites can feel confident that we are doing everything possible to keep them safe. All that we ask is that clients and visitors to our sites follow the directions of our staff around key areas including social distancing, temperature checks and hand sanitisation. By doing this we lower the risk of transmission and maximise our ability to continue to support young people across South West Queensland" Mr Paton said.
