22.01.2022 During September we have been investigating the lifecycle of our silkworms. Last year we were given silkworms, and have carefully kept their eggs for the past 12 months. The children eagerly arrive each day to examine the growth and development of the silkworms. They use art to record their observations and take responsibility for helping to care for their environment. Thank you to all the families that have been helping to supply us with fresh mulberry leaves, and Lana for sharing mulberries with everyone to taste!

01.01.2022 This week we are participating in National Child Protection Week with a Teddy Bear's Picnic and sausage sizzle. National Child Protection Week will celebrate its 30th year this year with the theme- "Putting children first" Putting children first means prioritising the safety and wellbeing of children. To grow up well children need to feel safe and loved, have a chance to play and explore, have a say in decisions that affect them, and access to essential things like food, shelter and healthcare.
