25.01.2022 Hello and love to you all! I have BIG Amazing news... Were RE OPENING! Im so excited to see you all again soon! As I return my hours will be restricted as Im still home full time with my two kids at the moment. As the weeks progress opening hours will increase. I ask you all day to please be patience with me, I will do my very best to fit you in all at a convenient time but due to the limited hours I am available for now this will be a temporary juggle. ... I am so happy to see a massive reduction in covid 19 cases and a lot of local businesses opening their doors once again! We will still be adhering to social distancing recommendations and very stringent hygiene practices. While the health crisis is not over yet, your hair crisis will be soon! Online booking has been disabled for now just so I can manage the initial influx but it will be available again soon. We will continue to monitor the amount of cases that emerge and should such a time arise that we feel its best for another temporary closure I will keep you all informed. But for now Im back baby!!!

24.01.2022 Good morning lovely clients. I know myself and most people has some concerns for how they are to keep themselves healthy amidst these early stages of the coronavirus outbreak. Its with this in mind that I ask that you please reschedule your hair appointment if you have any flu like symptoms or have traveled within the last 14 days. These measures are to not only limit my familys exposure its to protect other clients in the salon. I greatly appreciate your cooperation as we all learn more over the coming weeks. Thank you

17.01.2022 Im absolutely heartbroken to say this but sadly its now time for me to close my salon doors for a while. We as community need to focus on social distancing and beating this Covid - 19 spread. How long will this last? I cant tell you. But I can tell you that I cant wait to see you all again on the other side of this. I know the government hairdressing restrictions have been lifted for now but its only a matter of time now before there will be a forced complete closure.... If Im being honest with you all I dont feel safe practicing hairdressing at the moment. This health crisis has become something we never imagined and its changing every day. Its becoming harder to maintain a safe environment for everyone so this feels like the most responsible decision to make. Social distancing has to be our number one priority if we are going to flatten the curve and beat this!!! Please understand I am so grateful to you all and I thank you for all continuing to support my business though the Covid -19 ups and downs, Its been mentally draining for all I know. Please keep your families safe! STAY INSIDE! We can and will get though this and it will all soon be a memory. If any of you are struggling and need a chat please reach out. 16.01.2022 Hello to all my lovely clients! Many of you might be aware that we have been having some pretty troubling technical difficulties with our online operating system. Its been extremely frustrating for me to navigate especially being that I am no tech wizard in fact Im quite the opposite. I am so relieved it is all resolved now and you should be able to book your appointments as normal and receive all your confirmation emails and texts you were previously used to. I also wa...nt to apologize for the length of time it is taking to respond to some of your enquires. Since reopening post covid19 closure Ive been absolutely inundated which I am so grateful for but it has meant I am stretched a little thin and its taking me longer than usually to get back to you. 03.01.2022 The festive season is well and truly upon us people!! But before we crank the Michael bublè and pop the champagne to celebrate let’s make sure your hair is party ready!! I only have a few spots left for November and December and I will be taking a few (much needed) weeks off after Christmas. 03.01.2022 I best not see you at the local supermarket stockpiling box dye! But on a serious note... I know things are a little crazy at the moment with many events being canceled and there is a lot of uncertainty within the community regrading Coronavirus. While Im certain we will all get through this please remember that if you feel safe and confident to do so please keep supporting your local small businesses, our survival really does depend on it!!! The QLD government has not ...yet issued any contact isolation guidelines for the hair and beauty industry so until that happens its business as usual here! With that being said I just wanted to let you all know of some practices I have implemented in the salon for the forceable future to ensure everyone that their health and safety is paramount at Dis Hair Boutique. On arrival to the salon you will be asked to wash your hands or sanitize. Hand sanitizer is now available for client use. We have removed magazines from the salon. All beverages will now be offered in disposable cups. Our wash basin will be sanitized after every use. Sanitization of equipment chairs and stations will take place after every client. Please cough into your elbow and dispose of your own tissues when leaving the salon. If you arrive at the salon and youre not well you will be asked to reschedule. I know all this fuss seems extreme but its to keep us all safe while we navigate through this unfamiliar time. If you have any questions or concerns please dont hesitate to ask. P.S please dont steal my toilet paper!
