Tonight is the LAST night to see the lights for this year, tomorrow we start packing up so pop bye on your way out to your festivities tonight and come see us for the last time Our wishing well and lights will be out till at least 12:30 tonight for you to be able to add a wish to your New Years resolutions, maybe it might help you keep them

23.01.2022 URGENT NOTICE!!!! CHANGE OF PLANS We have just had a message from one of our amazing volunteers and their will be a change of plans in tonight’s line up !!!! Please note Mickey will now start at 8pm onwards ... And after 9pm we will have some returning guests who have taken time off of work just to surprise us for our final night !!!! We are so EXCITED they wanted to join us on our last night and we are sure you will love them again too and nope we are keeping it secret to who it is , come down and see !!!!

22.01.2022 Event Night - This Friday & Saturday Information Just over 24hrs till our first event night & its going to be a HOT Weekend , Here is some info regarding whats available at the event & things to do in order for everyone to be safe!! COVID- We have a Covid SAFE plan & will have sanitiser & social distancing markers. We also ask all visitors to read of our Green Covid signs onsite for help ... * Masks are Not compulsory BUT are advisable for you to wear them * We have a QR CODE on our signs for contact tracing , while again this is not compulsory to Our plan , we do advise its a great idea for just in case , All information is temporarily held by a private company as is not used for any purpose other than Covid tracing. * If you are Unwell or have attended any of the SA Health Hot spots Please Stay away until at least your 14day timeframe is up. *Covid Marshalls Onsite + Dedicated "Social distance security" to make sure we are all extra safe & Our numbers are kept on track. And Now The Fun Stuff..... Friday - 7:30 -9:30 - Our Amazing Duo Beauty & Beast will dazzle us all & A surprise Visit from Last Years Captain America who has been busily fundraising at work and is coming to make sure everything is ship shape. Saturday - 7:30 - 9:30 - Heroes Night- Our Amazing Deadpool has assembled an Amazing team of heroes to help him entertain you all with a New 1st for us SUPERMAN will be here ready to say hello with A friendly neighbourhood Spiderman & Another great Captain America to round out the awesome team its going to be a SUPER night.. Also on the event nights we have back - * Xmas Raffle * Lucky Dips - $1, $5 & $10 options * Novelty items for sale - Olaf Snow, Cookie houses, Lightup Items , Themed Novelty * HOT Popcorn & Fairy Floss - Both in take home bags due to covid. * SNOCONES - A MUST IN 40degree heat - NO CHANGE available - Cash is ok but goes into Donate Tin to be cleaned and sanitised after the events before banking. Last night we were treated to a spectacular show by our Princesses & Olaf , Elsa & Anna we AMAZING and even performed for us which everyone adored Olaf delighted with his love of snow flurries And all the happy smiling face that lit up when the saw our guests was amazing . Thankyou So much to the Williams family & Friends for entertaining us you did a Stupendous job. Obelia & Aggie ,you 2 were outstanding and we couldn't thank you enough for helping out

18.01.2022 Well What a Weekend! We had it all Extreme Heat, freak dust storms, pouring with rain & today a local bushfire, not to mention COVID .. Dispite all of this we pushed ahead and had an Awesome opening weekend. Thankyou to everyone who attended to support our team, Special guests & help donate, You did a great job social distancing and keeping to the rules so we can all be safe. ... To Our Amazing Ensemble of Special Guests , THANKYOU so much, despite the recent lockdown, increased rules & Crazy weather you were true stars and made so many kids & adults smile :) We hope you come back soon We have made a slight change to our light up time- during the week sunday-thursday night we will light up at 8pm instead as it isnt dark till 8:30 and those nights are lights only All event nights will stay at 7:30pm We also wont be announcing next weekends themes Or guests until after Tuesday when we have been updated on SA's latest health related restrictions in regards to our COVID SAFE plan. Well the Total is in , We may have temporarily broke the counting machine at the bank but its all fixed now Our goal was to double our last year total of $525 in donations to Make-A-Wish well I can announce that thanks to everyone who helped us this year we have well exceeded our expectations. We Do NOT demand people donate and the display & Events have always and will always continue to be for ALL to attend even if you are unable to donate , We wish to ma...ke people happy regardless of their financial status , that is why we offer things to purchase for the donations rather than asking for a entry/photo donation , We dont want anyone to feel obligated when they aren't in the position to help nor do we want them to miss out , this will always be a Community Display that fundraisers , therefore we are extremely proud that in spite of this we have managed to raise a wonderful donation amount ,,,,,,, SOOOOOO the amount raised for 2019 is................ 16.01.2022 Surprise guests, raffle winners & Mascot dancing. Last night was the perfect finale for this year , Here are some photos of the fun had by all ! Thankyou so much to Belle & Beast for the amazing surprise of coming , they left work early just to be there for our last night , And to our Minnie who was busy all day working and then performing in a concert who then raced down to come help us out afterward . We are so grateful to all of our special guests this year who care ab...out fundraising and making kids of all ages smile just as much as we do . 14.01.2022 Merry Christmas, I hope everyone had a Wonderful Christmas Day filled with family, friends & yummy food!!! We were planning to stop the lights last night but have been asked numerous times to keep them going a little longer for those who didn’t have chance to see them before Christmas, so we have decided we will continue to light up each nigh until December 31st in line with the Adelaide riverbank display this gives everyone a chance to come see the display , we will also ...have our wishing well out if anyone may want to donate to Make-A-Wish also , Once we close up We will be taking your donations to the bank for them to tally up and will be relaying the amount on here , we thank everyone who has donated so far to this wonderful cause and can’t wait to see what we have all worked so hard to accomplish!!! 09.01.2022 2019 Donation amount for Make-A-Wish **************** $2148.20 **************** We have more than quadrupled our last year total !!!!!... I am so thankful to everyone who helped make this possible this year , we really only started on the 2nd week of December this year as we planned on doing it mostly ourselves , however the last 2 weeks with our special guests helping us we were able to make the display larger . 08.01.2022 It’s New Years Eve And what a year it has been , I think most will be glad to see this year go but we have tried our best to bring you some great events too. Tonight is our last night the lights will be up , We have had some extremely fun times this year and have been fundraising like crazy, We thought we had finished BUT like 2020 there is a surprise at every turn. ... While starting to pack up yesterday we discovered some unopened boxes of prewrappped lucky dips & unwrapped dip items, unfortunately a lot of these items won’t last a year in a hot storage shed and we would hate to waste them ,so what to do ???? Sooo We decided to do a fundraising New Years Eve Pop Up Mini Market From 7:30pm -9:30pm tonight So while your out and about tonight why not pop in for our last Light up Night and grab a few bargains while your here . We will have - Lots of $1 Lucky dips Boys/Girls Limited $5 dips (boys mainly) Light up novelty fun -swords/ears/bubble guns Left over Gift packs/character art sets/ sensory toys/show bags items to clear Mixed Lolly bags + our usual $1 carnival foods including Hot Popcorn SNOcones Drinks Due to covid there are very limited options for anyone yet alone kids this New Years Eve, so perhaps this may be a good cheap family solution while supporting a great charity For $4 your child can get all this - popcorn - Sno cone - $1 lucky dip toy - Light up necklace & ring Where else can you get that kind of value while supporting a charity at the same time ? And before anyone asks No there will NOT be any guests/characters tonight , they are busy tonight and have social lives (unlike me who had no other plans ) Covid safe plan in place , with rules and regulations still to be followed- sanitation stations and check in signs still on site ready to go . So if your in the area Saturday afternoon after 4pm Pop the kids down for a little yummy treat and see how our setup is going for the main event :)

04.01.2022 UPDATE LIGHT UP TONIGHT!!! *** Power & Weather permitting *** Well hasn't the last few days been a huge rollercoaster , In light of the new information & end of lockdown the restrictions have gone back to as before , We Have heard from SA Health who have issued us a NEW COVID Safe Plan as of today which allows us to go ahead with certain guidelines in place . ... In Light of this we have decided to be hopeful & go ahead with our planned light up & event nights ... This means we will be lighting up TONIGHT!!!!!! Our first event night will be next weekend but please bear in mind we may not have special guests every night as our volunteer entertainers also have to think of their and their families health & wellbeing . We also ask you when you visit to adhere to social distancing , Use the provided sanitisers & read the signs displayed for all other precautions required to keep us all safe, Masks are Not mandatory BUT are advisable (dress the kiddies up a mask is much more fun when it looks like your Spiderman ) & of course IF YOU ARE UNWELL STAY HOME !!!! For TONIGHT IS LIGHTS ONLY, This means if you want to see the Light Display without the event nights its perfect for you , we have blocked off the walkway just to start with and will still have the sanitiser, signs up & Donation tins out. YES you can get out of your car to see BUT We do ask to start tenderly this week if their is a few people out front perhaps please wait till some leave before getting your family out. * Stay Socially Distant The pavers out front are 1.5m apart for a guideline (Family/Social groups can be together) * Read Signs displayed for guidelines. *STAY HOME IF UNWELL or HAVE VISITED ANY LOCATIONS ON SA HEALTH WEBSITE !! We would love to keep going and do NOT want to have to shut down. *Please avoid touching the light fence (We know kids like to touch we expect this & DO have disinfectant spray which we will be using . * Sanitiser Will Be Provided. *ENJOY! , we havent had much fun this year lets try and get some Christmas Spirit back & don't forget while we do this for the community ,We are also doing this to raise money for Make-A-Wish , Cash donation tins are out with sanitiser next to it , if you donate please then sanitise afterwards, all tins will be cleaned each night and when emptied will be cleaned & sanitised BEFORE taking to the Bank..

01.01.2022 Hi, Well goes to show a few days can make a HUGE difference! Unfortunately due to the current "Circuit Breaker Lockdown" we will NOT be putting our lights on this weekend or within the initial 6 days timeframe , to do so would be irresponsible & inciting people to leave their homes and this is something we do not want, Also with the initial 2 week restrictions in place our first event weekend will sadly no longer be happening , we are hoping that we can as a State get these ...cases under control & restrictions will decrease enabling us to be able to have some event nights on even within increased rules & restriction on numbers . In the mean time we will be discussing our options and may be able to work out some Online raffles & other distant fundraising options to get the ball rolling Once we know more or have updates from officials we will let you know , unfortunately advice and news can update without any notice as we saw yesterday so we are really just going minute to minute at this stage .
