24.01.2022 A privilege to be named Infinit Nutrition Club of the month. Use the code DRU on your next order to get your hands on a some delicious nutrition.

23.01.2022 How exciting is it that races are starting to pop up again (with some slight variations of course) and we can all finally enjoy the thrill of pushing our limits to see what we are made of in a race environment. Shout out to all of my athletes who have worked hard during the last 8 months during the Pandemic. It takes a special kind of commitment to stay focused during a time like this. You are all awesome! I want to celebrate two amazing athletes today for displaying great ru...nning performances. Well done to Evie Pratt who stepped out of her comfort zone and entered the Adelaide 6 hour. Evie dug deep and ran consistently throughout the race, showing true grit in very warm conditions to finish with 54km (unofficial) and 3rd place woman! Evie initially hated the idea of a 6 hour race but she showed up and fully embraced the experience with positivity and toughness and showed that she has loads of talent. Amazing work Evie!! Awesome work Toby Durnall who completed his first official race at the Brisbane Trail Ultra while preparing for his first ultra race next month. Toby completed the 30km race in 3 hours 34 minutes was able to finish strong and with a big smile on his cheeky face! Toby has trained with focus and commitment and is sure to see more success when he steps up into the ultra world at next month's 50km. Well done, Toby! Kudos to these two legends!!

22.01.2022 Cheptegei takes down Bekele's 10,000m World Record! 2 minutes 37 seconds per kilometre! This man is on fire!! https://youtu.be/Spmp3S4QPQM

21.01.2022 If you are in South Australia and you are up for a true physical and mental challenge I highly recommend you sign up for either the 6 or 12 hour race on October 3rd at the Uniloop. If you think the idea of running around a 2.2km loop for 6 or 12 hours sounds mind-numbing and really hard, believe it or not it is actually awesome. It is the perfect opportunity to see exactly just how far you can go and you get to be surrounded by an amazingly warm and friendly running community. I've signed up for the 6 hour!

19.01.2022 Things are heating up in Adelaide so it can only mean one thing... The Summer Trail Series is back! Sign up today for some real Summer fun!!

18.01.2022 Huge shout out to the 4 daring adventurous runners who set off on their 200 mile (320km) run from Murray Bridge to Clare today. Extra special love to DRU athlete Tamas Lorincz who is a part of this adventure. A truly humble and joyful man with an infectious smile. Despite the weather being cold and wet, I believe Tamas' positive attitude will shine through and we should see him arrive in Clare at some stage on Friday. Go get it done Tamas!!

14.01.2022 How exciting is this?! The great Kilian Jornet is going to attempt to break the phenomenonal Yiannis Kouros' 24 hour World Record! 303.5km (average pace of 4.44 minutes/km). Can he do it? I think he will come close but I think he needs another year or two to prepare for the rigors of running on the flat for so long. I hope he gets it. So awesome to see great people challenging themselves in new ways. From mountain ultra legend to flat ground king!! 14.01.2022 Feeling a bit foggy. My run from Athelstone to Belair via the Yurrebilla trail. I was accompanied by a rather thick fog for the first 46kms (of 56kms) #trailrunning #adelaidehills #yurrebilla #distancerunnersunlimited #trailrunningviews

14.01.2022 How is your big toe mobility?

12.01.2022 Great people doing great things!!

12.01.2022 Something to focus on for 2021. Four truly challenging races over 4 very different terrains. Organised by veteran Race Director Ben Hockings. What is the Ultra Hard Series? It's Ben's final year of Race Directing. And what better way to celebrate than to put on four of the toughest ultramarathon events in South Australia.... Karrawirra 100, Worlds End 100, Cape to Bay, and Paingana will all push entrants to their limits. And more than likely beyond. With one of the events south of Adelaide, two in the greater metro area, and one in the mid north, the Series will also be a fantastic way to see this beautiful state. From bushy coastal vistas to harsh rocky northern terrain, going beyond your limits never came with a better view. Emphasis is on self-sufficiency Full and "half" distances Reduced number of Aid Stations Reduced extra course marking Maps and notes supplied Designated runner/crew interception points Ample First Aid Timing points Spectacular Finisher Medals Series Points Score Unforgettable experiences!

02.01.2022 Wow! what an amazing weekend of running in South Australia for DRU athletes. Saturday saw the 9th running of the iconic Heysen 105 and with cool conditions the opportunity for fast times was there for the taking. I relished the opportunity to be out supporting everyone for most of Saturday as I wasn't running this year. In the 37km run, Mike Austy ran a smashing time of 4 hours 44 minutes (even with a 2km detour near the end) to finish off his return to running after sufferi...Continue reading
