25.01.2022 Last weekend was the Australian Professional Photography Awards (APPA), and I was honoured to be awarded with two silver awards for these images. 18.01.2022 The South Australian Professional Photography Awards were held on the weekend where I was lucky to be awarded 2 silver awards. It is pretty nerve wracking being judged by your peers but also rewarding in that you learn so much as well. The talent we have in SA is amazing! This is one of my award winning images, the other I can not display in respect of the parents' wishes :)

15.01.2022 Meet Stanley. Stanley served with the British Royal Navy during WWII. His first ship was the Ramilles where the Duke of Edinburgh also served (The Queen's husband!). He then transferred to the LeForey which was sunk by a U-boat in March 1945. There were 247 people on board, of which only 65 survived! Stanley is the only living survivor alive now. He also fudged his birth certificate to make him 1 year older, so he could join the Navy! Thank you so much for your service Stanley and letting me tell your story <3

It was the best thing we ever did and we saw so many beautiful places, which I will post when I've had a chance to sort through the thousands of photographs I took! 08.01.2022 The SAPPA awards were held over the weekend and I was very lucky to be awarded a silver award (almost distinction if it wasn't for a cool matte). The others were very close one or two points off an awards but can be reworked with the judges advice for Nationals in October. I would like to thank all my wonderful clients who give me the privilege of photographing their beautiful families. <3
