24.01.2022 If you were worried about a battery chainsaw not having enough grunt, then you haven't tried the Husqvarna 535iXP. Teamed with the BLI300 battery, we have one extremely happy customer with a ute full of firewood who said that he wouldn't go back to petrol!

23.01.2022 Thank you for you patience over the last week. We hope that you are all doing OK during such difficult times. We will remain closed during the stage 4 lockdown BUT are able to offer repairs on essential equipment to support permitted industries such as forestry and agriculture. If you need to contact us to arrange a repair, please send us a facebook message or email [email protected] and we we schedule a time for you to drop off your equipment. ... Our retail business will remain closed for the time being and will update you if this changes. We are thinking of everyone who has been affected by this, people who have lost their jobs, businesses that have closed, parents who are homeschooling, those struggling with mental health and our families that we can't see. 20.01.2022 Yesterday was our 7th birthday at District Hire & Sales. We cannot believe how quick the years have flown by. Thank you to all of our wonderful customers, suppliers, staff and families for supporting us during this time and helping our business grow into what it is today. We are very lucky to have a business in such a fantastic community. We have met so many incredible people and made some pretty awesome friends along the way.... 09.01.2022 It's been great to see our customers back in the store and catching up with everyone (2 at a time of course). Not that we have had much time to have a chat as the shop has been crazy busy. We are also open on Saturdays again from 8.30am-12.30pm if you haven't been able to get to us during the week. Don't forget that you need to book your ride on mower before you can drop it off for a service or repair as there is a bit of a waiting list at the moment. ... Thanks

07.01.2022 Business Update due to Stage 4 Restrictions We have found that the new restrictions are a bit confusing with regard to the services that we are able to offer during the stage 4 restrictions. At this stage we will be closing from Thursday 6th August until Monday 10th August to give us time carify if we can remain open and if so, then what that may look like for our customers. 06.01.2022 We have had a very busy return to work over the last few weeks. Thank you to all of our customers for your ongoing support and understanding, particularly with the restricted number of customers allowed in the store and longer delivery times from some our suppliers. We are open on Saturdays again, however note that we will now be closing at 12.30 rather than at 1.30. Enjoy your weekend!

(Long post sorry) We are excited that you will be able to come in to the shop for all of your needs from tomorrow however there are some rules to follow. PLEASE........ Only 2 customers at a time Remember to wear your mask Sanitise your hands upon entry Maintain 1.5 metres with staff and customers If you are in the shop for more than 15 minutes then you will need to complete a visitor register Don't enter the shop if you are feeling unwell or showing any symptoms of Covid 19 (we all know what they are). The workshop is extremely busy and we are not accepting ride on mowers without it being pre-booked so please don't be offended if you turn up on the day and we don't let you drop it off. We have an awful lot of repairs to get through and are working as fast as we can to get your repairs back to you. We can't wait to see you!!!!
