18.01.2022 ** STREAKY BAY YOUTH PRECINCT ** The District Council of Streaky Bay is currently investigating funding options to assist with the development of the ‘Streaky Bay Youth Precinct’ Already home to a skate park, the concept looks to further expand the opportunities available to the youth in the community, and is value adding to the Tourism Industry. The site will include a wide variety of elements to cater for our youth, integrating with the existing skate park.... Elements include: Pump Track , Skills Track ,Flow Track ,‘Wild’ Play incorporating a variety of nature play ,Secondary Play Elements ,Art and; complementary features including shelters, toilets, and paths. The attached poster is a useful resource to remind people of the risks of eating raw eggs. Uncooked food that contains raw egg has a higher risk of giving you food poisoning, as contaminated eggs can contain Salmonella. Cooking eggs thoroughly will kill the bacteria.... 01.01.2022 ***MOORE'S BOAT RAMP OFFICIAL OPENING*** Whilst the weather was not great for the occasion today, the official opening of our new Moore's Boat Ramp facility was a huge success. This project was delivered in partnership with Federal, Local Roads and Community Infrastructure Program; State Boating Facilities Fund and Council money.
