18.01.2022 ** STREAKY BAY YOUTH PRECINCT ** The District Council of Streaky Bay is currently investigating funding options to assist with the development of the ‘Streaky Bay Youth Precinct’ Already home to a skate park, the concept looks to further expand the opportunities available to the youth in the community, and is value adding to the Tourism Industry. The site will include a wide variety of elements to cater for our youth, integrating with the existing skate park.... Elements include: Pump Track , Skills Track ,Flow Track ,‘Wild’ Play incorporating a variety of nature play ,Secondary Play Elements ,Art and; complementary features including shelters, toilets, and paths. The attached poster is a useful resource to remind people of the risks of eating raw eggs. Uncooked food that contains raw egg has a higher risk of giving you food poisoning, as contaminated eggs can contain Salmonella. Cooking eggs thoroughly will kill the bacteria.... 01.01.2022 ***MOORE'S BOAT RAMP OFFICIAL OPENING*** Whilst the weather was not great for the occasion today, the official opening of our new Moore's Boat Ramp facility was a huge success. This project was delivered in partnership with Federal, Local Roads and Community Infrastructure Program; State Boating Facilities Fund and Council money. Thank you to both Rowan Ramsey and Peter Treloar for attending today's ceremony and spending some time with us today. The video link below shows t...he project progression from beginning to end.
