23.01.2022 Outstanding stolen vehicles this week.

22.01.2022 Police are appealing for information from the public to help locate a classic car stolen from the Camden area. The XW Ford Falcon is owned by a Picton woman, an...d maintained by her 47-year-old partner, who is a mechanic. About 7.30pm yesterday (Thursday 11 June 2015), he took the car for a drive from Picton to Mount Annan. During the journey, he pulled over on Cawdor Road, Cawdor, to make some adjustments to the engine. Police have been told a white van pulled up behind the car. A male exited the van and approached the mechanic as he was working beneath the bonnet. After a short conversation between the two, the van driver produced a pistol. He then got into the Falcon and drove away; the white van followed. Police from Camden Local Area Command attended and started an investigation. They are now appealing for information to help locate the XW Ford Falcon. The car is a bright blue, four-door sedan bearing the number plate 53714H. Officers would also like to speak with a man who may be able to assist with their inquiries into the incident. He is described as being of Caucasian appearance, and about 175cm tall. At the time, he was wearing a blue tracksuit with a blue hood. Anyone with information about this incident is urged to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or use the Crime Stoppers online reporting page: https://nsw.crimestoppers.com.au/ Information you provide will be treated in the strictest of confidence. We remind people they should not report crime information via our Facebook and Twitter pages.

20.01.2022 For less than a dollar per day these vehicles would be found in hours, not days or weeks.

11.01.2022 Below is a common situation that was rectified by vehicle monitoring. If you have staff using company vehicles you are at risk. Hello all We have a small business which requires an employee to have a company vehicle. We took on our first employee 2 months ago (he is still in probation) and after strong suspicions that he was constantly turning up to customers late and leaving work early, we advised him we would be getting a tracker installed on his vehicle, which we had done... last week. His contract states that the company vehicle is only for business miles as he opted for that due to the tax implications etc. It has become apparent this weekend though that he is using the vehicle for private use and thrashing the living daylights out of it! Obviously there are the insurance issues with this, alongside the tax side of things, and using the vehicle without consent. Can't quite believe he is doing it when he knew it was being fitted - unless he thought we were bluffing! I am going to have a meeting with him this week and put this to him but I feel I should 'charge' him for the private mileage he is doing. And now that the tracker system shows that the vehicle has been used out of working hours. Many thanks

02.01.2022 For under $1.00 per day Ditgo would have allowed the owners to locate their stolen equipment as soon as they became aware.

01.01.2022 If this employer had vehicle monitoring the employee would have thought twice before going down this road.
