25.01.2022 Albury's Lutheran Church side door was at the end of its service life, so they called me back to sort it out for them. A nice custom made solid core was installed using the period hinges and existing access hardware, the color was specified by them as being the original color and 3 coats of it went on. Ready to be admired by the faithful during tomorrows meeting :)

24.01.2022 A client in E. Albury is very happy with some work done a couple of weeks ago. A classic 70's era house with real timber in it, received a nice new Hume XS24 with opaque glass and matching sidelights to the front entrance, while the rear laundry was fitted up with a JST1 full glass style door made by Agora. New deadlock hardware went on to compliment the new timber, both doors came up a treat.

19.01.2022 Yet another satisfied client in Nth Glenroy with a rear full light laundry door being replaced by a half light with a doggie door fitted up. The owners requested it to be painted as well and a perfect match was had with some Colorbond Paperbark going on. 18.01.2022 Need some privacy to an open room or just want to be better able to control the climate in one room? Bif-olds are a great solution and are available in a huge range of sizes and styles. These 2 didn't get painted by me but it is a service i can provide.

18.01.2022 Long time no post, i've been busy but only with run of the mill stuff and if you've seen one door, well you know how that one goes. Today however was slightly different with a custom made aluminium and glass doorway getting fitted up to replace a pair of old doors into a detached garage. The client wanted it waterproofed to stop water ingress and seeing as the floor was out by 50mm from left to right i grouted the whole show with some deluxe premixed gear from Bunnings. All the edges were weathersealed of course and once the owner puts a lick of paint onto the recycled trims it will look a million bucks. Thanks for the call Steve.

15.01.2022 A regular client asked me to paint out her kitchen and dining room recently, i guess it's a sign that you're doing something right if you keep getting work from the same customer. One undercoat and 2 topcoats with some of Dulux's finest low sheen acrylic after some patch work to some dog damage on the plaster, plus 2 coats of stained varnish for the window reveals. Looks so much better now, as fresh paint tends to do.

15.01.2022 For the Spring season we are providing tree guards for people that wish to keep cats out of trees that are nesting birds. Also good to keep Possums at bay. Galvanised material so will not rust, and will expand as the tree grows. $50 installed for this size, more for larger. #saveourwildlife

15.01.2022 Something a little bit different this week, a carport fabricated in steel with a side wall that becomes a roof when desired. Just waiting on some flashing's and it will be complete. #carports #pergolas #patios

13.01.2022 A client in Lavington required a new carport roof frame to replace the rotted timber assembly that had seen better days. The roof cladding was recycled as requested [the old holes were sealed over] and a new Laserlite section went in as well to give him some natural light where it's needed. Another very happy customer, thanks for the call Mac.

12.01.2022 A job out of town a little while back required some new openings, they were dealt with quite easily and the client was very happy with the results.

11.01.2022 A client in sth Wodonga was tired of the draught coming in from their ensuite so engaged me to fill the hole in for them. Tasmanian Oak was used for the jamb [being a potentially wet area] and a 920mm Hume Vienna was used to match in with the existing doors in the house. SS butt hinges and a matching Ikonic lever passage set finished it off. Just waiting for the painter to show up and this will look like a bought one.

11.01.2022 A client in Albury wanted to make more use of their backyard so a skillion roof was designed and installed. One very happy customer, as usual. These pics were taken before it was completely finished off, as such the posts are all now braced and the structure is rigid.

09.01.2022 A repeat customer called me back for another job recently, painting her loungeroom. The walls and the cedar/aluminium corner window were quite damaged from a pup teething on them, [and the furniture] and the wallpaper had been half removed leaving a room that looked less appealing than it could. The walls got a nice coat of Taubmans cashew nut semi gloss, after being cleaned and repaired, with the cornice getting a freshen up as well. The window was taken back to bare timber... and resealed with 3 coats of Walnut polyurethane. The ceiling while old was acceptable and left for now. New curtains and rods set off the change nicely, another very happy client. Now i just have to deal with the wife that wants our loungeroom done...

09.01.2022 A couple of pics here just to show how easily you can avoid bond loss on the unit you are renting. 08.01.2022 The name Diverse is for a reason, a client out at Tabletop today had need for a handyman to install 2 wall mounted tv's to her home. A small job that most either wouldn't bother with or charge the earth to accommodate. Another satisfied customer, thanks for the call Dinka.

05.01.2022 A customer in Wodonga recently had need to raise her shed door opening as high as possible to allow a new vehicle entry. This left her with no roller door and as there was no room for a horizontal roller door, a pair of swinging doors were the answer. Fully welded frames and cladding in a matching profile saw the job sorted. The color couldn't be matched due to being a discontinued line but this was close enough and also provided a nice yet minimal contrast.
