Over the next few weeks we will be sharing stories of some of the winners on our platforms. Read Alexander's story here: https://www.abc.net.au//takeover-melbroune-winner/12758200

18.01.2022 Respect is celebrating rainbow families. A rainbow family can look like; a family with two same gender parents, a family with an LGBTIQA+ person in it, a family with Transgender or Gender Diverse parents, a family where there are co-parents from the LGBTIQA+ community and so many more! Every single one is valid and deserves respect. ... Thanks @wangyouthservices for shining a light on Rainbow Families as part of the #16daysofactivism #16dayscampaign #respectis #callitout #thediversityproject #thediversitygroup #diversity #rainbowfamilies #rainbow

16.01.2022 Bathrooms are one of the most gendered spaces that exist outside of our homes. Being Transgender and Gender Diverse Inclusive means ensureing equitable access to basic humans rights, this includes bathrooms. Check out this video on inclusive bathrooms and have a think about your school, workplace or favourite hang out - dies it meet the standard for being inclusive? If not perhaps its time to think about the steps you can take to support some change, because being able to use facilities is a basic human right. Contact staff on [email protected] or (03) 583161567 for more information regarding training and support about this and other inclusive initiatives.

09.01.2022 Daily reminder regarding our understanding of ourselves and gender identity. So many people we talk to are often not aware that gender is not attached to 'what's in your pants'! Gender is who we know we are, how we think and feel about ourselves, our sense of self - its unique to every single one of us; Transgender, Gender Diverse or Cisgender. ... its important to unpack these notions if you find yourself in a space where you can't understand what we are talking about here. Reach out for a chat if thats you and let's learn together. #gender #diverse #diversity #inclusive #unique #inyourpants #genderdiversity #transgender #cisgender #thediversityproject
