25.01.2022 I think its time for a new treat order! What are your dogs favourite treats (natural treats eg: pigs ear)? Do they prefer chicken, beef, turkey, roo or fish? Please let me know if theres something in particular you would like to have
25.01.2022 From what I can tell, we are allowed to be open. I am still trying to work out if people are allowed to travel to us if they are outside the 5km radius, as depending on who I talk to, depends on what answer I get! Its frustrating, but im doing my best to find out. If you are booked in and want to wait the 6 weeks out, thats completely fine, please let me know asap.
24.01.2022 I am trying to find out if we are allowed to be open. I will know more tomorrow when the other announcements are made. If you are out of our 5km range, unfortunately we will need to wait out the 6 weeks. If you are IN our 5km radius, hopefully we are still able to semi function, once I know more tomorrow, and can still groom your dogs. Either way, everyone who is booked in will be contacted regardless, once I know more tomorrow. If you need food or treats, Ill be at the shop tomorrow at 12pm for an hour or so, so if youre in the 5km, please come down and grab what you need. I will update tomorrow :)
24.01.2022 With a lockdown imminent, anyone who would like to move their appointments they have, to 4 or 5 weeks time, is welcome to. If you are isolating, please let me know asap. I am going to try and find out as much info as possible on if we are allowed open. As far as I know it will be the same rules as last time, which will mean we can remain open, with all the precautions we took last time. I will endeavour to keep everyone posted in this stressful time! Please stay safe and healthy and go by the rules, and hopefully we can get through this quickly. Xxx
22.01.2022 Nails, as promised Side note, please dont do nails unless you are confident and have someone there to help you if you need it, as the dog will always sense if youre nervous, and will absolutely give you hell. Walking on concrete will wear down the nails too. I really cant stress enough, if you arent confident, dont do it, as you can potentially hinder our job as the groomer if you injure the dog or let them win and walk all over you xx

Anyone who is booked in will need to be moved to wherever I can fit everyone in. Please be patient, I know its stressful. There isnt anything I can do and im doing the best I can. 21.01.2022 I often get asked if animals can feel Reiki. Well heres the answer. Here is my dog Dakota, falling fast asleep within 10 seconds of me with my hand on him! (sound on, you can hear the snoring ) They love it!! I love how much they love it!!

Please be patient with me, im doing the best i can with bookings. Please remember there are only so many dogs we can do in day. Hopefully it only goes for the 6 weeks planned! 14.01.2022 Just an update we are quickly filling up between now and October! The year is vanishing!! After October we do get booked quite fast as the hot weather comes in until Xmas, so please get in as soon as you can so your pup doesnt miss out
14.01.2022 Unfortunately grooming doesnt have a clear category we come under. So everything is very much open to interpretation depending who you speak to. With so much grey area, I have made the difficult, unfortunate decision to close shop as of tomorrow COB, until sept 13th. I dont want to risk anyone being fined over grey area! Im sorry about this, but its out of my hands. If anyone needs food, treats, coats or shampoo (feel free to bring your own bottle we can fill if we run out), please stop by the shop by tomorrow 4pm. 13.01.2022 Im excited for this order! Ive managed to get lots of variety in here, and yay for veal tails being back! I couldnt keep up with these when we had them ages ago, and they are finally back in stock! We still have roo tendons, as we always have, but they were out of stock on those so will need to wait for more
13.01.2022 Thought I would check in and see how everyone is going with their home maintenance? Any issues anyone is having that I may be able to help with? The 3 main things Im hoping everyone is doing, are, brushing (and combing), cleaning eyes and cleaning bottoms. If youre doing those, we wont have any issues coming back :) I hope everyone is coping OK xx

12.01.2022 Well, unfortunately it seems we are unable to reopen until 28th sept I will be attempting to move those who have bookings in those 2 weeks, tomorrow. Please be patient with me, im doing my best. This is super stressful and upsetting for everyone. I am already booked until end of October, so I will most likely be opening saturdays up to try and help with moving people. Hopefully we can reopen on the 28th! 10.01.2022 Im sorry if this is long... This is a crappy situation for everyone. Unfortunately it looks like, unless things change suddenly, October 26th it is. I honestly dont know what to say. I dont even know what to do about bookings. So what I am thinking at the moment, is keeping the list of everyone who is booked until this date, and once I have definite confirmation we will be reopening on Oct 26, I will then contact everyone to book them in. Because the last thing I want is to ...reschedule everyone and then Dan decides nope our numbers arent low enough, and keeps us where we are! Then we are back to square 1 all over again and to be honest, I dont need that stress! Once everything is confirmed, all groomers will go through hell. This will literally book out our entire year and then some. Taking 2 weeks off at the quiet time of year, takes months to recover from. So you can imagine what taking this long will do. Even though it is of no fault to any one of us, the repercussions will be massive. Which im sure its the same for every industry that is closed! There WILL be a wait. I cant do anything about that, unfortunately there are only so many hours in the day. I will be working later and probably saturdays to try and catch up, whenever I can. I am still here virtually, please dont forget that. I am more than happy to do a Zoom call with anyone, and talk them through any grooming questions they may have. I AM NOT OFFENDED IF YOU NEED TO CLIP YOUR DOG YOURSELF, just please be super careful. I can even Zoom you through it in person safely! PLEASE keep brushing to the best of your abilities, clean the eyes and bottoms daily. If anyone needs shampoo, brushes, dog food etc, please sms me on 0405 516 326 and pre order it, and I can meet you at the shop to collect (if within the 5km...ugh) I guess all im asking for is patience and kindness with this. I feel so sorry for all the new puppies being purchased for the duration of this covid crap, cos they are the ones who wont be able to get in for grooming, socialisation, training, nothing. Possibly for a very long time. Karen and I have worked our butts off (unfortunately not literally ) for 11 years for this business, we finally had it where we had hoped it would be, with AMAZING clients and dogs who are on regular schedules. Im really not sure how to get over this hurdle, but i sure as hell am not going to give up on you guys and your dogs. Please dont give up on us. Your support is so very much needed at the moment, for everyone. Please be kind to yourselves and others.

08.01.2022 Ok! So! My plan is, i AM NOT taking anyone outside our 5km. Its such a grey area, I dont want to risk anyone being fined. So if you are outside our 5km radius, I can move you to September should you wish to, or I wont be offended if you need to find a groomer within your km. I have called all that were booked in barring Friday, and moved who I needed to, and we are working tomorrow and Wednesday at this stage. I will wait for the list to come up which is meant to be more specific and detailed, which supposedly comes out tomorrow afternoon. Hopefully that sheds more light on the situation. Its a crappy situation for everyone. Stay tuned xxx

We are now well and truly booked into mid October, and everyone has been amazing about the dates and times Ive given . 04.01.2022 I am honestly stunned and so appreciative to have been recommended to Drew. My dog, dakota, can be...lets just say...horrible but really, who isnt when theyre in pain?!?! He injured himself the other day (fell out of the car like a genius) and his leg wasnt getting any better, so I took him here this morning. After 1 treatment alone, he is already standing better! I was so impressed how gentle Drew was with Dakota and his knowledge! So grateful to have found him to work with him and not force him into anything he didnt want to do or couldnt do!
04.01.2022 We are open! As far as the lockdown is concerned, unless things change, we are considered essential for pet health. Ive changed our procedures slightly from last time, so please note... * 1 person inside the reception only (please check front windows before entering) * Please use the hand sanitiser upon entry * Please take all collars, leads, harnesses, coats off and bring them back with you upon pick up * Please place the slip lead provided on your dog. (Lead may be slightl...y damp as we wash and disinfect between every dog) * Card payment preferred Thank you for your cooperation Xxx
