Genesis 17:5 " Neither shall thy name name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee" Genesis 17:15 " And God said unto Abraham; As for Sarai thy wife, thou shalt not call her name Sarai, but Sarah shall her name be". Today we want to pray for a name change. A number of people in the bible had their names changed by God himself as a sign to announce and proclaim a new season upon their lives. J...acob"s name was also changed to Israel. There is a degree of importance placed upon a name. Even the birth of John the baptist her mother rejects a name his relatives wanted for the Lad as she insisted and said "not so, his name is John". Beloved some of us are still walking with wrong names assumed and given by evil spirits and our ancestors. Strange things are happening in our lives because of names. We want to declare and pronounce in this season of reward as we pray a change of our names. Reject the label of sickness, poverty, sorrow, shame, embarrasment, anti-marriage, failure, lack of progress and moving in circles. Declare a new name upon your life ie Good health, overflow, peace, his devine provision, blessings, liberty, and extension. Proclaim that you are a partaker of his devine blessings and you are called for every good work. Reject every name connecting you to the grave. Reject every label given to you by your ancestors, your friends, the world and even the church. Proclaim your God given name today. Reject every label of wickedness and failure. This has been the case for a long time to the extent that you have now accepted it as normal but today begin to change your confession.Receive your new name in this season of reward in Jesus name Amen.
