25.01.2022 This week is Coeliac Awareness Week... Over 355,000 Australians have coeliac disease. That's approximately 1 in 70 Australians, HOWEVER 80% don't know they have it. Some people may have many symptoms and others have few.... 'What's With Wheat' outlines how wheat has changed dramatically over the years, and how chemicals such as Glyphosate are damaging our health.... You can download the film for just $7.97 or order a DVD for $19.97. This documentary is a MUST watch for anyone with health issues or who are concerned about what they eat, including those with Coeliac Disease. More information can be found at: https://whatswithwheat.com/

23.01.2022 Everyone take a breath... you don’t need more toilet paper! That won’t help with the Coronavirus BUT HERES SOME INFORMATION THAT WILL! 82,000 People are sick with Coronavirus at the moment, of which 77,000 are in China. This means that if you are not in or haven't recently visited China, this should eliminate 94% of your concern.... If you do contract Coronavirus, this still is not a cause for panic because: 81% of the Cases are MILD 14% of the Cases are MODERATE Only 5% of the Cases are CRITICAL Which means that even if you do get the virus, you are most likely to recover from it. Some have said, but this is worse than SARS!. SARS had a fatality rate of 10% while COVID-19 has a fatality rate of 2% Moreover, looking at the ages of those who are dying of this virus, the death rate for the people UNDER 50 years of age is only 0.2% This means that if you are under 50 years of age and don't live in China - you are more likely to win the lottery (which has a 1 in 45,000,000 chance) Let’s take one of the worst days so far, the 10th of February, when 108 people in CHINA died of Coronavirus. On the same day: 26,283 people died of Cancer 24,641 people died of Heart Disease 4,300 people died of Diabetes Suicide took 28 times more lives than the virus did. Mosquitoes kill 2,740 people every day, HUMANS kill 1,300 fellow humans every day, Snakes kill 137 people every day, Sharks kill 2 people a year. There’s plenty to go round. Let’s relax
21.01.2022 Hi everyone! Can you help? I’ve worked really hard the last 5 years on my charity work, proudly raising over $55,000 for 10 different charities. Now I’m asking if you can help my long time dream become a reality!... Natural Elements is a retail store I’m looking to start in Warragul, that will focus on low tox, sustainable and organic products, as well as having a gift range by local businesses PLUS a workshop space for educational sessions. Anyone who knows me knows I’m super passionate about health and wellness, and this store is my way of giving back to my local community. Someone suggested I start a GoFundMe page, to assist in getting the store off the ground, I’m never one to ask for personal help, but I’m so passionate about this that I have to put it out there! More details about the store are in the link. If you can help in any way I’d be forever grateful! Much love xo gf.me/u/xjxzaf
19.01.2022 PRE-ORDER NOW! Will be ready by Friday 23rd July. Button headbands $12 each PLUS $2 from every headband will go towards making FREE headbands for local healthcare workers. Masks are becoming part of our reality, and it's now recommended that people in regional areas wear them when around lots of people (supermarkets etc). ... They're great but the elastic can also hurt your ears, so I'm about to start bulk making button headbands. These headbands look great and the elastic is attached to the headband, taking the pressure off your ears. Perfect for healthcare and aged care workers who are wearing them for long periods of time. As well as those in various workplaces, going out shopping or for students wearing them at school. Two styles available: Soft stretchy knit (either flat or with a cute twist) or cotton with an elastic section for stretch. Sizes will be made for 5 and under, 5-12 years and 12-adults. Stay tuned for fabric choices, but if you would like to order some let me know so I can work out roughly how much fabric to buy. SEND A PM TO ORDER...
18.01.2022 Hey everyone, Okay, so this headband idea has gone CRAZY! I thought I may get a few orders, but have had over 100 people contact me, and already am well over 150 headbands needed. ... I work part time, study and have two kids, so it's going to take some time to get as many done as I can... To make it easier for myself, I'll be putting the fabric options (and quantities of the headbands in that fabric) in 2 albums on my other business page (see link below). There will be guidelines about what you need to do to order on the albums, so please read that carefully. You can then comment sold with a quantity on the fabric you'd like. I purchased some fabrics today, and will upload photos of them into the albums tomorrow morning, and orders will then be opened. There were tonnes of gorgeous fabrics available, but I've only selected a handful to make it manageable for myself. The albums will be uploaded tomorrow on my business page, link below. Please note: the fabrics, elastic and buttons (WOW buttons are expensive) was more than I anticipated so the headbands will now be $15 each which will cover the material costs, as well as some of my time AND $2 from each will be donated back into making headbands for local healthcare workers. Pick up is in Warragul, or postage is available, prices will be listed on the albums. Check back on my other page tomorrow morning (around 10am) for fabric options and to order. Please make sure you read the album guidelines before ordering. Thanks everyone! xo https://www.facebook.com/naturalelementsau/

12.01.2022 One of my biggest passions is helping others & the community I live in. I’m proud to have run 10 events over the past 5 years, raising just over $55,000 for charity. I’m currently running a GoFundMe page to raise funds for the Community Workshop aspect of the Natural Elements store. ... The workshop space will allow local practitioners and experts run workshops on health & wellness, sustainability, low tox living and ways to reduce waste. The space will also be for ‘make and take’ DIY sessions, as well as fun creative workshops throughout the year, and may even work for those who want to meet up and do some craft etc. If you’re able to spare a few dollars towards this space, I would be so grateful! My aim is for Natural Elements is to be a community minded space, where inspiration and education can occur! Xoxo https://www.gofundme.com/f/natural-elements-store-launch

10.01.2022 Today our lovely neighbour passed away from a long battle with terminal cancer. It really got me thinking about how sad so much of the world has become, how selfish so many have been lately. Thinking of themselves and their needs, hoarding goods etc when so many are unwell, many are suffering mental health issues from the stress of whether they have work (or have already lost their work), and many are suffering from the virus. ... Please take time to think of other people during these difficult times. How can we connect with each other, make sure others are coping & have what they need? What can you do to help someone else? Today I spent the day doing many things: some work, making a hamper for our neighbour and her children, harvesting vegetables, and we spent hours gardening together, preparing the veggie patch for winter veggies. The day involved some things to help my own mental health (as my anxiety has been quite bad lately) and some time thinking of others. A beautifully balanced day. Sending you all virtual hugs
