13.01.2022 When life gives you lemons, chickpeas, garlic, tahini, salt & olive oil, make hummus.....and thats exactly what mum and I did on Tuesday night. Since the shop is closed and we were both craving for humus, we thought wed make a little video for you guys while we were at it: 400g chickpeas (canned or boiled) 2 tablespoons tahini 2-3 tablespoon lemon (put less to start off with)... 2 garlic cloves 2 tablespoons olive oil 4-5 tablespoons water (if using canned chickpeas) 1-2 teaspoon of cumin (optional) Mix everything in a blender, garnish with paprika and go wild dipping your favourite crackers! Afiyet olsun xx

10.01.2022 Its so sad to see so many businesses close due to stage four restrictions. And with very little hope for the future, some businesses have already closed down with no intentions of re-opening. Others, like us, have managed well up until stage 3 but things started looking pretty gloomy after that. Were hoping that our customers miss the food as much as we miss seeing their familiar faces everyday - especially those who pop in everyday, even for a short chat. We miss you all, we hope that this madness will end soon and that youre all safe in your homes with family and looking forward to a better life soon. We look forward to seeing you in the very near future, fingers crossed :)

05.01.2022 I love this woman! If it wasn't for her, we would not have survived today. It was busy (to say the least) and I cant believe we made it through the day with limited resources and staff! You know, it's not just our food people come back for. It's actually more than that. People can see the passion in this woman's eyes. They feel that she loves what she does. They know she wants to please. They sense something special about her and I'm not suprised that they just keep coming back for more. Love you, mum! Keep up the good work!
