14.01.2022 I wish to thank all those who attended the Grand Opening launch of Divyne Inspirations on 15th May, 2016. I especially acknowledge Maree Cutler-Naroba, Propel Your Business Forward for her exceptional support during the lead up & on the day. With you I was able to continue on till the day was complete. Also thanks to Fipe who loyally supported Divyne Inspirations by being on the spot for weeks while setting up. Awesome thanks to Angela of Trafficreative who designed my logo ...& produced the graphics for my Facebook page, brochures, signage & webs site opening page. Thank you to the four beautiful ladies who volunteered for two whole days as a whizz team, helping put labels together & attaching them, helping tidy & organise. My pianist on the day, June Genders, who made such a beautiful atmosphere for attendees while they drank bubbly, enjoyed tiny treats by Chef Kathryn, watched Bridal Gown parades, perused the many gowns & accessories, & played dress ups. Thank you to my MC Penny, to Marcus of Community Radio 93.7 for setting up the sound, to Jonathan who supplied the sound gear, to Penny's daughters who diligently served platters of food all afternoon, to my friends who came along in support of my new venture, to my family who sent supportive messages from interstate. My models, Erin & Danielle who are hair dressers for brides, & Fipe my assistant who also shyly modelled a beautiful gown, I loved watching & hearing how stunning you all felt & looked. To the dear ladies who donated a 67 year old wedding dress each, they are very personal to me as they represent two very longstanding & loyal couples who still love each other to this day in their 80s & 90s. There were other service providers who brought along their products for display, thank you. These included Seed Florist from the Hahndorf Fruit Barn, Sharon's daughter who supplied creative head garlands of flowers & berries, Amy who is a make up artist to brides & for special occasions, Teresa who brought along bridal gifts & candles. I warmly & lovingly thank my daughter Angela & my son Marcus for being there with me on the realisation of my long held dream of providing a relaxed, fun place where brides to be can come to peruse the variety of gowns & accessories available at affordable prices, while relaxing over treats, & coffee or tea, if ordered for the day of their dreams. 12.01.2022 IT's day 5 after our official launch day & I've notified the winner of our $500 gift voucher toward a gown of her choice. With her permission I will post her name when she has responded to my message. I'll call her tomorrow to confirm. 09.01.2022 Ivory halter neck gown, with a fitted dropped waist bodice. The skirt is full length with a train. The gown is embellished with lace motives, hand sewn sequins & crystals. Bodice & hem embellished with scalloped lace. Ribbon trimmed elbow length veil & separate flower are accessorised with elbow length retro gloves. Whole outfit price is $500. Gown alone is $440. 08.01.2022 An early 1970s style gown. Ankle/waltz length with daisy lace overlay with train. Slight bell sleeves falling gently at the wrists. Neat little plain yolk trimmed at the neckline with matching daisy lace. The matching wired daisy lace headpiece is finished beautifully with a very long almost cathedral length fine veil trimmed with larger daisies, scrolls & scalloped edging. Whole outfit $400. 05.01.2022 White & silver disco/retro style in fine organza. Embellished with hand sewn pearls, crystals & beads, the bodice has a peplin cut into triangles each with a drop pearl on the point. Shoulders have puffed pleats & the sleeves match the peplins at the wrists. The skirt is waltz length, flaring gently out from below the pep lined waist. The triangular shaped tiara with the double veil set this gown apart, even more than its individualised design. The brand new diamanté choker completes the story. Complete outfit $580.
