20.01.2022 RSPCA Assessment Kennels We wanted to share some images of the works at the RSPCA Darwin. Jaytex Construction has been upgrading and constructing the Assessment...s Kennels after damage from the cyclone last year. Pictured are some of the Jaytex Construction team when we met Chance and Archie ostensibly for a site visit. It's all coming together but we couldn't do this for the RSPCA without support and generosity from other local businesses. Also pictured are Dudley, Brad Wilson and Joseph Stanton from Roy Stanton Painting Service. Brad and Joseph took a little bit of time out from painting the existing steel columns and Dudley took a break from supervising. Thank you also to Rex from Roofclad Constructions. 38m metres of kerbing was laid yesterday by NT Kerbing Love your work guys. There is still the fit out of the kennels and landscaping to be completed but, in the mean time, more site visits. Jaytex Construction - Building Community See more

18.01.2022 TIO STADIUM OVAL TWO FACILITY UPGRADES COMPLETE TIO Stadium now has four new change rooms at Oval Two as part of the Territory Government's $3 million proje...ct to upgrade facilities at the stadium. The new change rooms were built to meet the AFL’s Preferred Facilities Guidelines which outline best practice in the design of amenities for both male and female users. AFL Northern Territory invested $200,000 in the infrastructure project. The upgrades also include a new kiosk and ticket box, and separate rooms for umpires, timekeepers and media. This project was designed and constructed by Jaytex Construction. 11.01.2022 It was a blast to sponsor and attend the 2019 Awards of Excellence for the NAWIC NT. Appropriately, Jenga and chocolate was on every table on arrival. Congr...atulations to our Belinda Wilson who was a finalist in the NAWIC Award for Achievement in Health, Safety and/or Environment. This award recognises achievements and contributions to a construction project in a Health, Safety and/or Environment role and demonstrated innovation or best practice. Australia's construction industry comprises 8% of our Gross Domestic Product, and employs 1.1 Million people. The sector is the largest non-service-related industry, contributing $134.2 billion to the Australia's economy. In the Territory, over 10 300 people are employed in this industry. Currently, on a national level, women hold only 12% of the positions in this sector, and only 1% within the trades. NAWIC NT has been supporting women in the NT for the past six years and we are proud that 25% of women make up the Jaytex Construction work force in roles from site and project managers to design and marketing. We are delighted then, to announce our youngest apprentice - Sophia Elizabeth Moss. Sophia joined our team on September 25, 2019 and we are organising her hard hat and work boots in preparation for an onsite visit. Congratulations to the finalists and winners on the night it was great to be able to share in your success. #WomenInConstruction #NAWICNT #NAWIC

10.01.2022 NOW Leasing NT have called Darwin Corporate Park home since opening the business in November 2015. Being under 15 minutes to Darwin City, Northern Suburbs and P...almerston ensures their Property Management business is both efficient and convenient with their team inevitably spending lengthy periods of time on the road. Joely Sullivan and Jo Griffiths have gone from starting and running the entire business to now employing a small team and consider themselves the first choice in Property Management in the Darwin and surrounding areas. Recently also expanding their office space within Darwin Corporate Park and with a growing team, it called for some new team photos. The girls and Charlie Bliss had a great time during the photoshoot! We think they look smashing.
