23.01.2022 A big thank you to the Kinglake Ranges Mens Shed for the picnic tables, they are great quality, sturdy & reasonably priced! We are taking a little time off to get ready for a much better 2021 and look forward to seeing everyone from Thursday 14 January.

19.01.2022 VENUE CLOSURE AS OF 8PM SUNDAY 22nd MARCH 2020 Considering all the facts available to us from the various authorities regarding the Coronavirus Covid-19 outbreak and that we have a duty of care to our staff, customers, suppliers and contractors we have made the difficult (but responsible) decision to close the venue to the public as of 8pm Sunday 22nd March 2020. Please note that if the situations become more serious (or we are instructed by the government or local council to... close immediately) that this closure date may be sooner than later. We will continue to offer our takeaway menu for car park pick up or home delivery to Dixons Creek, Steels Creek, Yarra Glen and Castella for as long as possible. Thank you for your understanding.

Unfortunately at this time we can only deliver to Dixons Creek, Steels Creek and Yarra Glen but if the service is popular we will look at extending the delivery area as soon as possible. 14.01.2022 We are still monitoring what is happening in Victoria regarding Covid 19 trading restrictions. Unfortunately, it is not financially viable for us to open for takeaway, consequently we will remain closed until further notice.

13.01.2022 Dixons Creek Cafe Bar & Grill Coronavirus Covid 19 Action Plan as of 17 March 2020 On Monday the 16th of March the Andrews State Government declared a state of emergency for the state of Victoria in response to the COVID-19 outbreak. We have considered that information together with information published by World Health Organisation and Australian Dept of Health.... At this time, we are still open to the public however, if we do need to close in the future for the safety of our staff and guests we will continue to offer takeaway (you will have to ring when you arrive and we will bring your order to the car) together with home delivery. We are currently reviewing the delivery area and may extend it in the near future. To all our guests, staff, suppliers and contractors please stay at home if you feel sick or unwell. In this interim period, we now offer the following services To reduce your exposure to touching surfaces or objects Dixons Creek Café Bar & Grill have removed salt & pepper shakers from all tables. Sealed portion-controlled salt, pepper, sugar, condiments, disposable cutlery and wrapped straws are available on request We will provide plastic or paper cups for beverages whenever requested. A larger than usual range of packaged soft drink, juice, beer, cider and spirits are available if you prefer sealed beverages. All staff are required to wear disposable gloves (that are changed regularly) when handling any food. We recommend and encourage our staff, guests, suppliers and contractors to regularly wash their hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds and use the hand sanatiser available. Environmental Cleaning Environmental cleaning is important at all times to Dixons Creek Café Bar & Grill to reduce the risk of transmission of pathogenic organisms, we have instructed our staff to use the hospital grade disinfectant and sanitiser provided to more regularly to ensure surfaces are cleaned Payment We request our guests pay by credit/debit card during this time. 11.01.2022 Reopening update We are excited (along with all Victorians) with the easing of lockdown restrictions. Whilst it is great news that hospitality business can reopen, we still must adhere to density limits and at this stage our venue is constrained to just 16 guests at any one time. This is still not viable for us to reopen and we will continue to review changes as they are announced. Unfortunately, at this time we are unable to accept any bookings. There is lots of work to do as the deck is being modified to be classed as outdoor dining and the car park will be converted to another outside dining area.
