If elected, I am committed to strongly advocating for and supporting you and our profession on important issues such as;... Increasing and protecting our areas of work and income streams. Improving solicitor and judicial resources in our courts, Investigating ways to decease our indemnity insurance costs and other fees. Advocating for increasing Legal Aid rates. Advocating for low Land titles transaction given the taxpayer is still bound to underwrite the Torrens guarantee. Advocating for Increased member services for health & welfare and Increasing benefits for members. Positively promoting our profession to he community Advocating for better linking our lawyers with unrepresented clients for lawyers willing to prosecute their legal rights. Advocating for Increased pathways for indigenous lawyers to help reduce incarceration rates and deaths in custody. Promoting diversity, inclusion and equality in our profession as leaders in our diverse multicultural, multi generational society.
