19.01.2022 An interstate customer has recently provided a review. We what we do! Happy long weekend "I live in Melbourne and was a little concerned ordering a kitchen from DIY in Sydney sight unseen. There was no reason for concern. The kitchen quality was awesome, the chipboard was quality, all the holes lined up, and every piece was labelled which made self assembly very easy (anyone can do it). Even though the price was comparable to IKEA I got 2 pack painted doors instead of l...ow quality vinyl wrap, top end Blum drawers and runners rather than bottom end drawer boxes, and flexibility to add non standard size cabinets, plus could choose any colours I wanted (in the dulux range). Also they cut out the range hood and sized the oven cabinet especially to suit my appliances. So you really do get custom service for the price of a low quality inflexible flat pack from IKEA or bunnings. In terms of service Damian has been very responsive all the way through. We got quotes from 2 kitchen places to remodel our kitchen! One came back with a quote we simply couldn’t accept and the other one didn’t even bother to send us a quote. We then looked at flat pack kitchens and we had the choice of 3! We went with DIY Australia for a couple of different reasons: 1. Australian made product... 2. Custom made - we had a difficult space that generic flat packs didn’t work! 3. Customer service - Damian was a pleasure to work with throughout. 4. A quality product - we were actually surprised by how good it was. We would have no hesitation recommending DIY Australia to the average handyman! We did have a couple of minor issues but with Damian’s help they were quickly and efficiently resolved!
