18.01.2022 Canadian Rapper Merkules Announces His Return To Australia & New Zealand With September Tour Dates! Merkules' branding is in an interesting spot: in-flux between the underground rap scene thriving in western Canada and the mainstream artist he is trying to become, VICE Fresh off trending #2 on YouTube with his ‘Old Town’ remix single, independent Canadian rapper Merkules announces his return to Australia in September after selling out 5 dates in one week in 2018. Merkules, born under the name Cole Stevenson, in British Columbia, started rapping at 16-years old. Since then he’s risen quickly on the scene, being nominated twice for the Western Canadian Music Award. The rapper’s journey hasn’t been easy, he’s suffered a very serious assault and has gone on to be one of the most open artists’ in the new school movement of rap to speak heavily about battling addiction. 18.01.2022 Post tour wrap up! Thank you Australian fans for supporting RapTix & coming out to support rising star Dizzy Wright on his debut headline tour, behind the scenes so much hard-work & sleepless nights for months happens & it really shines when 99% of fans & teams can really step up for a great time! Dizzy, DJ Hoppa & hype man Moeski loved every minute of it from touchdown, as a promoter you can tell if it's going to be smooth sailing or a trip from hell, with a great hardwork...ing & keen artist it was the former. We where impressed by every support act & I had the chance to see at least 60% this tour! & some of you are going to go so far don't quit! I would like to first thank Cyfly Mil from BC who was on deck for Melbourne and Adelaide and being reliable as well as all his team who assisted. Adelaide Zhivago & all the staff all my solid team (you know who you are guys <3) who always help out, all the regulars who buy tickets to every gig I bring here no matter what (it means the world) to all the acts who competed in the competition & the winning 3 Sacred Albino, Moes, Cyex!
