07.01.2022 After years of service this customers old mains gave out during Saturday nights storm. Resulted in new 16mm mains and also found they had no working earth connected at the main earth rod. Carried out the repair and had energex install a new overhead service and reconnect to the grid. Any rural customers should get a basic inspection done on their main service pole this time of year to avoid this from happening.
