15.01.2022 This home was affected by the sudden wind storm up in Parkes, NSW earlier this year which blew the front veranda roof completely off and over to the neighbouring home!! We have re-fixed and replaced veranda posts and beams, re-pitched and sheeted veranda roof and replaced all cypress floor board due to water damage and the finish product, has come up a treat!! 15.01.2022 * Bathroom Modifications * A full bathroom modification completed for our wonderful clients out at Beelbangra just outside of Griffith by the team here at DJR Building. We have created a more accessible space by removing the existing shower unit and cupboard, re-falling the bathroom floor to the shower waste and installing a 1200mm x 1200mm curtain rail and curtain. We have also installed weight bearing shower rail, new vanity unit and mirror and have removed the old bidet and toilet and have installed a all in one bidet toilet suite to help maximise space in the toilet area. There original ensuite/bathroom had become impractical to use and required expansion. We were able to utilise the existing space in the laundry and push back the bathroom creating a larger, safer more comfortable area for our client and there carers as well as adding extra storage and cupboard space. 01.01.2022 This home was the result of a ransacking in which the extent of the damage included: > Cutting down present carport & pergola. > Cutting all electrical wires in the roof of the house. > Stealing water tank pump.... > Stealing reverse cycle ac unit. > Stealing bathroom vanity and shower taps. > Damaging kitchen bench tops. > Taking sliding wardrobe doors. > Stealing cooper piping. And the list goes on. They really done a number on this one but luckily the client had insurance and we were able to come in and rectify the damages that were caused. Its a great feeling and something we really pride ourselves in here at DJR Building helping out clients that have been through a tough time, an inconvenience not caused from their expense.
