19.01.2022 We put on a thank you dinner for blaze aid last night, and had Dan Cregan (Liberal MP for Kavel), Alex Zimmerman (local recovery coordinator), Lobethal Footy Club (who originally hosted the Blaze Aid team), members from the local CFS groups and the Onkaparinga Rotary Club who have been working alongside Blaze Aid for the entire year and will be continuing to rebuild the fence lines of the hills until the job is done. We (with Bayer) gave $750 to the Woodside CFS for saving our store. We thanks everyone who came last night and give special mention to John Tuckwell (logistics co-ordinator) and Al Keynes (his predecessor) and Andy O’Donahue & Sue Jackson (Camp co-ordinators) for their hard work and for leading by example with big smiles and bigger hearts.

07.01.2022 Be alert for Downy Mildew in the Onkaparinga Valley. Look for fresh oilspots like these. As we are just going into flowering, this vineyard was E-L 19 early flowering, it is a critical time to proctect fruit. Matt Wilson, Liz Ward, James Hook and Tom Jefferies have all been scouting over the last two days and are up to date with local conditions.
