19.01.2022 Welcome to The Aus Hop sessions, a short series highlighting the talent displayed by Australian drummers playing for some of Australis's biggest hip hop artists. Episode 1 features a long time friend of mine and incredible drummer Benny Clark Music who plays drums for Baker Boy . There's no denying the talent and showmanship displayed by Ben with his slick and tight style of drumming. It is so refreshing to see Australian hip hop artists encorporating drummers into their live... shows. Call me biased but the difference between a hip hop show with and without a drummer is HUGE. There's no denying the energy and hype having a live drummer brings to a hip hop show. Drummers bring the heat, they have the energy, the vibe and the showmanship to take a great show and make it incredible! Live music WILL be back! 02.01.2022 Wow!!! I mean, I knew he was good but....... this is ridiculous haha!! I've learnt a lot from Stevie Cat Junior over the years and I'm very lucky to have had this guy come into the studio and show us how it's done. Stevie plays for Aussie Hip Hop legend Seth Sentry and played drums for Kimbra for many years. In my opinion, Stevie is one of the countries best players.
