17.01.2022 It is with a heavy heart that we have come to the decision to discontinue DK POOL CLUB parties indefinitely. This is a decision we have not come to lightly. With the struggles of University student support, oversaturation of the market and a decline in students numbers, we feel it is best for us to leave it here in order to honour what has been created and the amazing events that have been thrown over our 15-year history. ... From originating as a bunch of guys who played pool every week and shared music to growing into the largest events in Bathurst nightlife, DK POOL CLUB has had an incredible journey. DK Pool Club has played host to Flume, Emoh Instead, RUFUS, Cosmos Midnight, Peking Duk, Ocean Alley, Kwame, Dom Dolla, LUUDE, Kilter,Tigerlilly Torren Foot, Zeds Dead, Kinder, JUST A GENT, Human Movement, SET MO, EMBER, Marc Spence, NAT NOIZ just to name a few. This has been through the hard work and dedication of previous Members to bring the best music to Bathurst and provide incredible parties for the Students of CSU and those who just wanted to have a good time. We would like to thank all the people who have helped us over the years, including the Oxford Hotel, The Eddy, Rafters Bar, CSU Staff who have supported us to the end and all those in the Organisations who have worked to make sure our events could be a success. We would also like to acknowledge all of the people who have ever attended and made the parties what they were. This has always been a club dedicated to and focused on university students and by getting involved and actively participating, you have all made the nights the best they could be. We will still be around throwing pool comps at the Ox and enjoying some beers and beats so feel free to come down next year and say G'day. We are throwing one last hurrah with our Annual Full Moon Party. We would like to openly invite each and every one of you who has ever come to sink a few with the best damn pool club in the Central West. 05.01.2022 Hey all, as some of you may know we sadly have parted ways from CSU and are no longer associated. this doesn't mean we have any dislike for the University and hope to maintain a positive relationship with its administration and students. we are continuing to remain a club run both for and by the students and with the aims of bringing awesome music to town, a good time and place for people to be themselves in Bathurst.... we would like to fully endorse and support the launch of the Music Appreciation Club in its first Bar Night, a continuation of an event we have run previously with the University. We think this line up is spectacular and sure to be an incredible event.
