12.01.2022 ** GRANT SUCCESS NARROGIN BOWLS CLUB ** Great news today for the Narrogin Bowls Club! A grant submission to the Department of Local Government Sport & Cu...ltural Industries (DLGSCI) Community Sporting & Recreation Facilities Fund (CSRFF) has been successful for the construction of a 7-rink synthetic green to replace one of the existing grass greens. One third each will be contributed to the cost of the construction by the State Government, the Shire of Narrogin and the Narrogin Bowling Club. The synthetic green will be great for members and volunteers at the Club who will be able to enjoy greater time ‘on the green’ rather than ‘preparing’ the green. The Shire of Narrogin is pleased to be able to support the Club in its endeavours to make the Club more accessible and playable ‘all year round’ and reduce the burden on volunteers. See more

07.01.2022 Western Australia's remarkable coastline and landscape means our lifestyles tend to involve a lot of water activities, so it's vital that all children are given... the opportunity to learn water safety skills and how to swim. Under the new KidSwim initiative, kids from low-income families across WA will now be able to use their $150 KidSport vouchers towards swimming lessons. Since its inception in 2011, KidSport has been hugely popular and has provided more than $31 million through 192,000 vouchers to help kids across WA play sport - and it is fantastic we are able to build on this success with KidSwim.
