25.01.2022 DLTV is looking for schools that are teaching the Digital Technologies Curriculum to participate in a series of school case studies. Whether you are starting out or established with your implementation, DLTV wants to hear your experiences. We are looking for schools from all sectors (independent, Catholic and state) and teaching all levels (primary, secondary and P-12). We want you to share your experience and showcase the type of lessons you are implementing to teach and ass...ess the Digital Technologies Curriculum. To support you through the process you will be reimbursed the equivalent of a teacher’s CRT day approximately $400). It is expected you will put together summary overviews of the types of activities you have planned and provide a term unit of work that goes into a little more detail. You will be fully supported through this activity. If you are interested reach out to Kevin Daly, DLTV’s Manager at: [email protected], or Professional Learning Coordinator Nathan Alison at: [email protected]. We understand that now is a very busy time for Victorian teachers. We are aiming to run this program through Term 4.

It allows students to improve their knowledge base and track their progress over time. 09.01.2022 This month we have connected with Art Education Victoria to discuss how the Digital Technologies Curriculum and use of ICT can be integrated into Media Arts and Visual Arts lessons. When teaching Visual Arts and Media Arts there is an expectation that technologies will be integrated into your lessons. This is referring to using technologies to create or enhance artworks. This is different to the Digital Technologies Curriculum. The Digital Technologies Curriculum explicitly teaches how technologies operate. We have provided some suggestions on how these curricula can be taught in unison. For the full article please go to the DLTV website here: https://dltv.vic.edu.au/Digitech-and-Curriculum-Integration
