16.01.2022 Welcoming arrival for the Gin Gin Community Hub. The project locates all council services under one roof. The full refurbishment and extension to the existing council office building has transformed the facility into a vibrant, accessible and light filled space to form a new library, complete with children's nook and community space, flexible meeting and hire spaces, community gardens, respite centre and council offices. The transformation of the original building ...has opened up the height of the roof space with full height gables and exposed roof trusses reminiscent of a contemporary Scottish barn, a nod to the 'Wild Scotchman' - Queensland's only bushranger and an integral part of Gin Gin's history.
