17.01.2022 The Dreaded Burpee: The Burpee is a great whole body movement. It involves getting up and down off the ground which forces your heart to pump blood to the extremities. In the traditional burpee you start in a push up position, jump your knees up and perform an explosive jump at the end with arms up overhead. . An easy way to vary the intensity of the exercise is placing your hands on a bench for your starting position. One of my favorite burpee variations that I use with beginner to intermediate clients is the bench burpee into jumping jack. Start with hands on a bench or any elevated surface. Jump your knees in then perform a jumping jack. The bench enables you to perform more reps and keeps the intensity up through the whole exercise. While the jumping jack ensures you're working multiple planes of motion.

Studies show kettlebell swings are one of the most effective exercises for burning fat. They're also great for developing the hamstrings and the glutes. ... Plus they have the added benefit of developing power in the lower body. While it is an advanced exercise it doesn't take long to master under the right instruction.
