24.01.2022 I love reading these! How many of you can relate to Veronica and Suraj?! . . One of the biggest goals that my husband and I were working towards was to purchase our own home together. After our wedding in 2019, we decided that 2020 would be the year to cross that off our list. .... . It was a huge goal however, we were determined. We spent weekend after weekend of looking at open homes and watching auctions for experience. In March, my brother had connected me with Tony and said it'll be a good idea to get in touch and see what he can do for you. . . 24.01.2022 Congratulations to the Mishras on their new investment property!!! Stressful is an understatement with this deal for the both of us . . . What happened here was their existing lender (bank staff) mucked them around for weeks knowing damn well this bank (Red Star) won’t come to the table. Weeks went by with no result and they started to shit themselves . .... . That’s when I got the call to check their story out. Straight away I knew I had to take it somewhere else and cue my stress levels rising even though I’m not at fault. But luckily for them, I got the job done . 16.01.2022 Congratulations to Gary and Huyen! They’ve recently settled on their land and and about to build their family home. This will be their first home after all those years of renting. . . . The process wasn’t easy at first. Gary was initially declined by the bank. That’s fair enough if you don’t fit the bill. And that was it between him and the bank. See you later, good luck . ... . . . But that’s not good enough when the client wants to badly secure a home for his family. So when I met Gary, I’d advised him what he needed to do to put himself in the position to buy. We worked through it for over two years, constantly talking and letting him know what he could and should do. . . . When the time came, the approval was easy, not difficult. Earlier this week Rio and Stacey got the keys to their first home - over 600sqm, beautifully renovated with lux bathroom, and less than 10 minutes from major shopping centre and everything else you'd need. Beautiful first home, see the pics for yourself. .... . So why are they lucky? Continue reading! . . Only back in December 2019, they had 5% deposit saved up. Normally, that's not enough to buy this kind of home in South-West Sydney. So although they had both worked stable jobs, they spoke to 6 other brokers who fluffed them off. Some said they'll call back but didn't, others said wait till you have more deposit, others just didn't bother to reply. No luck so far. . . But they got wind of my number. We had a quick chat and I thought to myself "we probably can't do anything now but let's help them get ready to buy down the track". So 1st stroke of luck - they got a hold of someone who cared. Meeting took place on XMAS Eve and we set out a plan. . . 2nd stroke of luck - Australian Government rolls out the First Home Loan Deposit Scheme. This scheme only has 10,000 places but there are 110,000 first home buyers! You do the maths, these places are more scarce than toilet paper. We sent a loan application to reserve their spot on NEW YEARS EVE. And of course, due to our swift action, we got them a spot! . . 3rd stroke of luck (kind of) - COVID-19 hits. We originally signed up for 2.99% fixed rate but with the banks coming out with new low rates, they secured a low rate of 2.29% which took effect on their actual settlement date! . . So what seemed impossible only three months ago was possible. New home on a little deposit with a smashing rate. . . Thanks Rio and Stacey for the opportunity. 13.01.2022 Friday feel good stories! . . Meet Adrian. He just bought his first home at the tender age of 48. And for a first home, it's incredible. Over 700m2, 3 bedders, double garage with ample space. Check out the pics! .... . Until recently, he had been renting most of his adult life.
