25.01.2022 Moyhu Horse Trials treated us well last weekend with both ponies once again performing well! Pete in Grade 2 Open and Chief in Grade 3 Open. Both their Dressage tests were beautiful and calm (for my horses), and clear and under-time cross country rounds. I’m so pleased with both horses! See below for both horses cross country videos! Mum and I now look forward to attending Tocumwal HT this weekend with myself ridding Pete in the Grade 2 Open and mum on Chief in the Grade 4 ...Open https://vimeopro.com/ridervideo/ridervideo/video/325421146 https://vimeopro.com/ridervideo/ridervideo/video/324872785

18.01.2022 Better late than never.. last weekend Chief, Pete, mum and I ventured to Kergunyah Horse Trials where mum competed Chief in Grade 4 open and Pete and I in Grade 2 open. Pete warmed up for dressage super calm, soft and beautiful but there’s something about walking into the sand arena that seems to stress him out. Despite a little temper tantrum, he did manage to hold himself together relatively well to do some nice work. Mum was quite happy with Chief’s first test of the seas...on and I look forward to see where they end up this season. Their cross country round was great as well, and this year she was able to get through the course clear and under time so I’m super proud of them both! Petey ended his weekend with a super clear showjumping round and I’m really happy how far his come in this phase. Mum and Chief also did a clear showjumping round despite the rider losing her way at the second last jump. I’m pleased to announce that Petey came home with a ribbon, finishing in 5th place and Chief and mum finishing in 9th place overall against a heavy field. I am now looking forward to Benalla Horse Trials next weekend with Chief in Grade 3 and Pete in Grade 2. I’ll be a busy rider! Video below of the Super Ponies at Kergunyah! See more

14.01.2022 Better late than never! A week ago today Petey and I ventured to Gundagai for the one and only Lucinda Green #SucceedEquine cross country clinic. We always get so much out of these 2 days of training and every year we come home with new tricky lines to train and so much more knowledge. I’m looking forward to this years eventing competitions and what we can achieve!

09.01.2022 Benalla Horse Trials provided the goods this weekend with both my horses behaving on both days across all 3 phases giving this rider a super 6 rides. What superstars they were! Petey was first up in his dressage and did the calmest most behaved test to date. Chief obviously didn’t want all the attention held on Pete so he too did a great test. Although I was a little disappointed to see both horses sitting mid field after dressage they soon worked their way up the ranks with ...double clear rounds on both Pete and Chief in Cross Country and Showjumping. With the both of them finishing on their dressage scores Pete came home with 2nd place in Grade 2 Open and Chief 4th in Grade 3 Open. I am SO damn proud of how these two are coming along. Let’s just hope it wasn’t a fluke and they can do it all again next weekend at Moyhu Horse Trials A massive thank you to all volunteers and Benalla Pony Club. This event is always a pleasure to attend and we look forward to attending again next year See more

05.01.2022 Mum and I were super happy with our horses this weekend at Tocumwal HT. Mum started her weekend of with an average dressage test but clear XC and SJ. Pete was a superstar starting the day off with quite a nice dressage test leaving him in 1st place I was shocked to say the least but this horse just gives his heart and soul into everything he does and I can’t ask more than that! With a clear SJ round I started to get a bit chuffed thinking the XC course looked quite easy. Ka...rma got the best of me and just after the second last jump Pete and I parted ways I’ve been kicking myself all afternoon! Nevertheless mum and Chief got around safe and sound and I am again, very proud of how these two are progressing This weekend we look forward to giving the horses a well deserved rest, whilst celebrating my grandparents 60th wedding anniversary, and then attending Barry Hillier HT the following weekend See more
