25.01.2022 Did you know that if tor air conditioner has a condensate pump it requires yearly servicing to ensure that it operates effectively. The second photo shows the strainer that is usually inside of pumps. One the the biggest factors relating to pump failures is this strainer becoming clogged from lack of maintenance this can lead to costly repairs from water damage.

24.01.2022 When cleaning the return air filter we find some people use the vacuum cleaner or brush. With these methods the filter material becomes stretched and can cause holes within the material that allows dirt to pass through causing restricted airflow. DMJ suggests that you place the filter directly up against a fence or wall and hose the filter from top to bottom. This allows the dirt to be flushed away with no damage to the fragile material. Once cleaned leave in the sun until dry then reinsert into the return air. Remember to check and wash your filter every couple of months and get a yearly service to help prevent failure in the critical summer winter months
