14.01.2022 Trail day 10th October. Advanced Trail. Those wonderful volunteers were at it again today finishing another 600m of trail along the hillside. Apart from plenty... of riding features including a multiple log / rock rolls, a short rock skinny, jumps and berms, this will just be a very nice area to ride through the tall trees. During our work we had a 'quality control' inspection from a large monitor lizard and a magpie - they seemed suitably impressed - I am sure riders will be also when the trail is open. We still have lots of trail to do and our aim is still to open the Advanced Trail by the end of 2020. None of this work would be possible were it not for the efforts of all the volunteers who give up their riding time to make this happen for you. If you can help us out, even for an hour or so, our next trail day is coming up on Sunday 25th October - the details are listed under 'events'. Please remember, the Advanced Trail is closed. The surface is loose and soft and will need time to settle. Please do not ride this trail - not only are there potential rider hazards from unfinished work but some soft sections of the trail would require extra volunteer work to fix which will slow do the overall trail build. Be a good mountain biker - do not ride closed trails.
